Thank you very much for the review of your Glock and Beretta, very basic, simple and to the point. My very first pistol was the Beretta 92FS but sold it many years ago. The grip in my opinion was just to large for my comfort and went with the Sig P226. I agree with you about safeties and the potential issues that can arise from high stress moments and prefer not to have one. I've had many Glocks and as you said, they are simple, flawless and reliable firearms.

It's not called a Glock 17 because of ammo capacity ya ding dong. It was Gaston Glocks 17th patent.
