I'm doing a test swatch while watching you do this. It really appears in the video that your very first herringbone stitch (and subsequent stitches) is into only the front stitch of the chain? I don't see that you're stitching into the 2 parts of the stitch. I don't see this written in the description either - whether to go thru the whole chain or just the front part. Maybe I'm missing it? (BTW - I love this pattern - thank you for the video!!!! I'm a newbie.)
Could you please share what is the total length of the top.... So I can get a better idea of how many rows to add before starting the v-neck for a longer piece. Thanks
Hi, thank you for your tutorial. I am wondering if this tank top could be made with hdc as well following the same pattern? I did one in mustard color with this stitch but I would like to try with a simpler stitch but not sure if it will work. I am a beginner. Cheers
@@robertataggart5989 It was a typo. The pattern has been updated. It will hardly affect the outcome if you did ch 1. A ch 1 or a ch 2 is fine. But to stay consistent I have corrected the error.
it would be nice when you start off by chaining, tell us what it is we about to start with - back, front, bottom up top down -that way we not just blindly following instructions

Yes, absolutely
Can anyone tell me how long does it take to crochet this please?!
Woww
Can I make this pattern in in circle, instead of making two panels?
So will a dk weight work for this? Very pretty top with the herringbone stitch.
Debbie Cobb I think so, make a gauge swatch to be sure 😊
MJ's Off The Hook Designs thank you I am going to start on this tonight,
Is there a way to make it longer
Verry nice top
How many yarn did you used for this please?
Super cute! Is that yarn still available? I’m looking on their website and I don’t see bliss. What’s a good substitute for it?
How to knit short sleeves for this shirt? 🤔
What other yarn / cotton could you use for this if you don't have that brand?
Susan Broomfield Brava sport would work great from wecrochet. I have the link in my blog post www.mjsoffthehookdesigns.com/crochet-the-ruby-v-tank/
Can l usé coton yarn for this one 🤩
How much yarn did you use for the medium size?
How much yarn did you use for this size?
That yarn does not look like a 2 weight, it looks more like a 3 weight to me.
So cute!!! Just started mine in purple😊 in the written pattern it says chain 1 after row 1. You stated ch.2. which is correct?
ch 2 :)
@@mjsoffthehook So the pattern I purchased is incorrect....?
