I'm amazed the original tapes have maintained their integrity, to warrant such loving care, for them to reissue these wonderful old recordings. Well done EMI I guess. Unfortunately I'm not well healed enough to purchase these lovingly restored discs but, I'm lucky enough to have many of the original recordings that many classical music fans seemed happy to jettison with the arrival of cd. (thanks guys)
Absolutely fascinating! Like listening to vinyl there is a peace and tranquility about this video which is wonderful. Thanks so much for posting this Michael I would love to see more of this ilk..
Wonderfull machine. Thanks to the Russians for saving this one. I might even consider collecting classical vinyl records as I am starting to become of the right age soon (in fact I already have a couple, don't tell anybody). Thanks for this video Michael.

Fantastic, what a wonderful machine!
Wonderful stuff!
Fantastic video and information..... Sean Davies sounds like James Mason.
I love their releases, let them come ERC :-)
Fantastic!
How wonderful would it be if The Beatles, Stones & Pink Floyd analog tapes were mastered here and then pressed on 180 gram vinyl.
They also have a Neumann VMS-70 and a Scully lathe.
Thank you!
What an amazing system. However at the prices for those pressings? Only for the UBER RIch. I see the new Mozart Box Set is selling for what? 3 Grand?
