Love the way you set up the binder! I started with 100 Easy Lessons for my daughter and it was a disaster! We've been using The Reading Lesson successfully and happily for almost a year
I like the reading lesson MUCH better. I checked out 100 easy lessons at the library and knew it wasn't going to work for me and my 5 year old. Pages are way too busy. I bought The Reading lesson from Amazon after seeing this review and it is going great. The book is very straightforward and fun for my kid. She looks forward to coloring and doing the different activities.
Thank you for the thorough look inside these! I remember watching your All About Reading video when I started that curriculum with my oldest. Now, my youngest will be ready to start reading/writing in the next year. How do you think The Reading Lesson compares to something like AAR? What type of learner do you think this would be good with? My oldest is definitely a perfect fit for AAR, but I think my younger son might to do well with something like this. I am going to try the preview with him since its free on the website, but just curious your opinion since you've done both! Thanks ❤
Thank you! i pulled out a few pages at a time ,, the book comes with the glue binding so i did have to peel off exess glue then i just sliced the cover with a paper cutter ..
You can download flash cards consistent with The Reading Lesson from our website, www.readinglesson, on the goodies page. - Thanks for the wonderful vote of confidence.
We have been using The Reading Lesson, I didn't know they had a handwriting to go along with it!! 😱 We really like it. My daughter has went from not knowing any letter sounds to reading, we are only on lesson 8.. we use Bob books too & did handwriting without tears this past year.
Great flip through! Pair that with some easy-to-read books from the thrift store and you can teach your child to read and print on a shoestring budget. 👍
I had both of these books and I ended up keeping the one you're doing the flip through because it seemed less confusing to me... and I'm glad that I did so thank you for sharing this it was absolutely awesome ...and informative... I did go and download your free Flash Cards and I'm going to be checking out your other things in your store.. so thank you very much and have an amazing blessed day!!
I'm really happy you are back. Love your videos how you explain and show everything! I'm definitely going to buy this book. Waiting for more new videos!😁
Hi! I have my own Binding machine its fairly easy to use ,, as far as printing The e book istnt super colorful so it wasnt to hard to print out .. it is about 300 pages but i printed them double sided which always helps..
I picked this one up too for my now Kindergartener since remember sight words is harder for her. She has done well with it so far and reader better than with our other program. I also didn’t know there was handwriting! Thanks for sharing
My child and I couldn't get into the 100 lesson book, so freaking confusing. It was making our lessons a bit more frustrating. I've been checking out the 20 lessons for a while. Looks like something we can work with. Thanks for the review and flip-through. As always, you're awesome!
Not necessarily,, but this is what’s working with my daughter.. AAR worked amazing with both my boys , but the lessons took too long for my daughter and she would loose interest.. These lessons are pretty short but sweet I just do one page day with her ,, sometimes we even stick to the same page if I feel like she needs more time with it
Anaika Joanis She just turned six ,, in all honesty she just started to show interest sometime in March ... we were already working on this book as far as letter sounds

its so much easier to use ,,, my boys hated 100 easy lessons

Mad! Homeschool Academy I noticed my daughter is liking This handwriting better,, she likes to trace so maybe that’s why 🤔
@@HomeschoolOfBelAir we didn't care for handwriting without tears. We are going to try Getty Dubay this year.

What did you use after this program?
We are currently using All about Reading she’ll be starting level 3
How did you bind the ebook? Was it difficult to print - tons of paper and ink?
