And this is why you always, always evacuate if you are told to, or if it is suggested. Sure, you might be okay if you don't, but why take that risk? When I was a kid, in 2007, massive fires happened in my city, and the group home I was in had to evacuate in the middle of the night. The fires thankfully didn't come close to our house, but imagine if it had, and we hadn't evacuated.

    *At Geonet HQ*
    Researcher 1: Hey Bro.
    Researcher 2: What Is It?
    Researcher 2: What Is This?
Researcher 1: a map of an earthquake swarm at Taupo. Multiple earthquakes hit Taupo, with Most being near the three kings.
    Researcher 2: So?
Researcher 1: This could lead to a possible eruption to one of the volcanoes.
    Researcher 2: Really?
    Researcher 1: Yes.
Researcher 2: Okay then, keep check on the mountains in case they are what are causing the Earthquakes.
    *2:23 PM, ngauruhoe erupts*
    *EAS Begins*
All radio stations within the Manawatu-Wanganui and Taupo Regions have been shut down in order for this message to be broadcasted. This message has been issued by Geonet and the Civil Defense Center. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. THIS IS AN ERUPTION WARNING.
At 2:23 PM Standard New Zealand Time Mount Ngauruhoe erupted, sending large amounts of ash into the Atmosphere. This eruption has caused fear within the Taupo Region as this eruption could be leading towards a larger eruption of lake Taupo. However, this has been proven wrong as the earthquakes have shown that Mount Ngauruhoe would erupt. This eruption has caused large amounts of sulfur dioxide into the tussock lands around the base of the mountain. The towns that’ll be listed are at risk of large amounts of sulfur entering their area. These towns are Desert Road, Rangipo, Lake Rotoaira, Turangi, Motuoapa, Poutu, Tokaanu and Otukou. If you live in these towns please listen further to the instructions that’ll we will provide you. Do not take any heavy luggage as in an event that a pyroclastic flow happens, it will destroy anything in its path. It is advised to wear a face mask to keep out the ash when it hits your area. It is advised that you do not drink any water from Rivers, streams or lakes as the ash will contaminate it. This has been an official warning by the New Zealand government. Thanks for listening and remember to stay safe. Ka Kei Tei.
