You only live once. I love sedans. Beautiful car, but I would option in the straight six. The only gripe is with the instrument panel, I love regular analog gauges. Great review Sam.
@gotcoke795 this model is not for speed. It's all luxury. It's basically a s class but 40k+ cheaper. Those who are interested in this model and buying them don't care about the speed. It's also much better on gas then the v8 everyone is asking for which is a plus for me. Other then the s class this model is by far the nicest looking.
I used to really like Mercedes-Benz but I think they are making some really BAD decisions. I think the exterior looks pretty good. But I would take the Cadillac over it
I think Cadillac makes him more athletic sharp car. Their interiors have been really good to the point where I don’t think it’s a big difference, especially considering the outdoor price but for me it’s the fact that you can still get the V6 TwinTurbo in the Cadillac, but not be forced into all wheel drive. The majority of us just don’t need it. Keeps the weight down and keeps the complexity down. It keeps the maintenance lower and it gives you better fuel economy.
Tail pipes: I hate that the openings are closed and fake! I really like how Ford/Lincoln l handles this. It looks like real tail pipes but the openings are downward facing from a hole a hole that cuts out of the bottom. Numbering: This really should be called the E300. This is the same engine used in the C300 yet this one is called a 350. Not fair, not true. I checked.
Such a well balanced review. Hope MB will listen to your spot on comments. Nobody ever looks better than you in a Benz. It’s a natural.
I agree with you. He does look the best in a Mercedes. It’s wild

Great review Sam.
Good review. I will correct one BIG issue. The base price of $62K is for the RWD version. The review car is 4Matic (AWD), and it's base price is $65K.
255 hp for $80k+...I'll PASS - Mercedes has turned to absolute garbage over the last decade

Got to get the 450
I hate the wagon look. They're ugly IMO.
Great review, as always.
Merc's decision to eliminate the "luxury styling" option for North American E-Class models, really turned me off.
What is the luxury styling option?
