2021: 8 Rounds of Chemotherapy (Carboplatin and Paclitaxel) with 30 concurrent radiation treatments to chest and lung
Failed Immunotherapy directly after Chemo and Radiation (Durvalumab, 1 round)
2022: Chemotherapy
10 rounds of Chemotherapy (Carboplatin, Alimta, and Avastin)
6 with Carboplatin, 4 without
Targeted Brain Radiation (Completed)
Most Recent Treatment plan, prior to passing:
Whole Brain and Spine Proton Therapy (Radiation) 13 sessions

The purpose of my channel is to document my cancer journey to look back on, and/or help anyone else going through anything similar. It is also to potentially help loved ones supporting those who are in this fight as well. This is also an easy way to update a lot of people at once. My main goal is to have footage of this journey for my husband and children to look back on. I originally created this channel as a sort of video diary for my
family.

I so agree. Cooking is such a bonding experience. I still remember learning to cook Greek dishes from my Yia Yia when I was a teen, and we had such great talks while cooking. Brings back the best memories.

I'm joining you in the grief, Kyle. My husband passed at the end of March from cancer. We were married 50 years so we don't have any young children at home and I think caring for children left behind kinda keeps you going. You have been an inspiration to me. I think I know how much you loved your sweet Jenny and yes...she was wonderful.
I miss my husband so much after spending a lifetime with him. Life will never be the same.

You are right , kids keep one going , I had an horrendous experience back in 1995 concerning my husband ( not death related ) and it bought me to my knees while disemboweling me at the same time. I honestly would have ended it had it not been for my sons needing me . Kids force you out of bed every morning even when the day is the last thing you want to face . My thoughts and prayers are with you in your grief 💐
I feel your pain. I lost mine the same way. We were married 43 yrs. Good days, bad days for me! If it wasnt for our children I honestly dont know what I'd do. I miss him everyday. Keep your chin up girl! 💞

One thing I noticed Kyle in watching all the videos you post is that you are so humble. People have given some great advice and you take it to heart. You don't point it out but it is recognized. That Ellis is in a booster chair, that you purchased safer pots and pans, more quality home time with you and the kids and also finding your community. It makes me feel like you do read the comments even if you don't reply to everyone. You couldn't possibly do that! So much kindness, support, and love this community wants to give you is so authentic. I have shared you video by speaking to my Mother and letting her now I watched this amazing man and he talked about finding community and it touched me in a way that I feel so ready to find mine. Almost 8 years widowed and I just realized how alone I really feel. So thank you. Thank you for the humble man you are. As always much ❤ to you and the kids.

Kyle helped put it in perspective for me. He is so authentic. No matter what trolls say Kyle is the real deal.

Yes it's sad when they grow up. You don't realise at the time how precious that time is. I can't even put into words how well Kyle is doing. Jenny must be flying high with pride at how awesome her family are doing. I can't watch any of the old vlogs with Jenny in I find it too emotional. I miss her presence so that goes without saying how well Kyle's doing. I think this community of people that he's connected with seem to be the magic ingredients to how well he's doing. I lived in Naples Italy for a while- the Napoli spaghetti specialty is “Spaghetti con aglio e olio e peperoncino rosso” which is essentially spaghetti with garlic, olive oil, and red pepper flakes. It’s delicious! I think the only difference between your version and the Italian is they typically garnish with fresh basil instead of the parsley. Interestingly, almost every Italian region has their own version of spaghetti- in some locations it’s spaghetti with fried zucchini and cherry tomatoes, in other locations it’s spaghetti with eggplant and mint, the possibilities are endless and it’s all extremely tasty! You can put all of those variations into your vegan mix pretty readily!

My family is from close to Naples. Kyle is trying so hard to learn how to cook for his family...bless his heart. Aglio e olio is one of my favorite dishes. Kyle made the really good pasta at Sprouts that is bronze cut...good job. Accept use fresh garlic. What a wonderful daddy he is...the best! 🦋🦋❤️🦋🦋🐞🐞❤️

@@Meowch-vq2xqbeing vegan isn’t them restricting their foods in that way at all. Same with Jews and Muslims they don’t eat certain foods and don’t end up with eating disorders. It’s just a way of life and moral code they’ve decided on. Don’t be ridiculous. This is totally normal and has happened for a thousand years of humans writing down their food. Us Christians don’t eat meat certain days. No food disorders here. Just a different version of that . Moral to them meat is wrong to eat. That is totally fine. These kids are very loved and fed well. They will be totally fine

One trick to make the spaghetti easier for the kids to eat is to break the dry spaghetti noodles before boiling. That way it's much more manageable for them when it's finished. Great video Kyle...you rock at being a Dad.

It's ok to have a sugar treat once in a while . Sometimes the body needs some sugar boost . Once a month I wouldn't think would interfere with them being vegan . A part of being a kid is having or wanting candy like that say everything in moderation they will be fine

Quesidillas are easy to make...............add cooked peppers and onion, beans, non dairy cheese to a tortilla, place in a large pan with olive oil, cook on low-med heat, fold over and flip back to forth to desired crispness.....top with guacamole or just sliced avocado, hot sauce, salsa..............
This week I bought myself some dill-pickle chips. You’re right Kyle! They are super yummy, perfect for that tangy, salty snack that I crave every so often. 👍
