How to use:
1. Import footage.
2. Put overlay above and change the blend mode to multiply/screen depending on which overlay you use.
3. Color grade and add film grain.

For those wondering how to use it, here's how:
Once you have your footage and the overlay imported, drag them onto the timeline and make sure the overlay is on the video layer above your footage. Then, depending on which overlay you use, change the blend mode to either multiply or screen (multiply for the overlay with the white background and screen for the overlay for the one with the clear background). Then it should be good to go. For the film burns, change the blend mode to screen. Depending on what software you use, you might not be able to change the blend mode. This works for most professional softwares like Premiere Pro, Final Cut, and Davinci Resolve.

How about Sony vegas
It should work on any editing software that lets you change the blend mode. I’ve never used Sony Vegas Pro, so I am not too sure. The file type is just mp4 so it’s not specific to any editing software.

Whether you are on Mac or Windows, try using a different video player. VLC media player is probably the best one.

idk why but im having trouble importing the overlays into davinci resolve it wont let me drag and drop or add it at all
i have never used davinci myself, but since the overlays are mp4 files they should be able to be dragged and dropped into the timeline. are there any settings you need to change to let mp4 files be added to the timeline?

You should be able to use it on any major editing software that lets you change the blend mode, etc. I don’t really know much about Sony Vegas to tell you but I think it will work
