- My unboxing and first look at the Nubia Z50S Pro which is a very interesting product that features a 35mm main camera lense with a very large f/1.59 aperture.
This device was only sold in China and you had to import it via

Glad that you shared some info and the 5min exposure sample. This device focuses on main cam only, I would love to see the direct comparision to Axon 40U (if you have it still), so see if new gen of 35mm has some points or not. I would say this comparision could be unique on web.
Is it worth selling my honor magic 5 pro for this
This looks like a very good phone for the price. The camera apk also has some interesting features and the phone is good for taking photos of moving subjects. It can automatically adjust the shutter speed when it detects motion. It also seems to work more reliably than Xiaomi's version from my brief trial (but maybe not as good as the Honor magic 5 pro). The only thing I don't like is the in-hand feel. It is a bit heavy and the straight sides don't feel the most comfortable. Would like to see how the video stabilization performs in your camera test. The downside to the 35mm focal length is it is more difficult to stabilize for video so it's difficult for video stabilization to match phones with 24/25mm main sensors which are much easier to stabilize for video
I am also thinking of buy this it has all flagship spec with very low price tag. I think camera is very capable and end of the day their no such perfect camera phone yet.
Such an interesting device. I have never had a chance to have Nubia phone before but I like it a lot 😊

Looks Amazing, nice Materialfinish. Reminds me of old Panasonic CM1 Phone, but dont think z50spro gets close to CM1 quality wise.

I'm interested in 8K recording. It's the only mode that phones don't overprocess the videos.

Sadly the useless front camera isn't hidden under the screen like on the Z50 Ultra.
Question; how does it compare to Nubia Z50 Ultra?
They are just 4 months apart, specs are more or less the same (Ultra seems to have more megapixel muscle mass).
Is the Z50s Pro a diffusion of a (supposedly) higher level Ultra?
This is an interesting phone indeed but there are few apparent issues that put me away from it - no plans of OS upgrades and uncertain patches time line, no warranty, very likely a large amount of OS bugs and who knows what else. I don't know what to expect from this brand.
Would be nice if you're planning to do a detailed UI walkthrough for this. Keep it up 🎉

I had ZTE phone before thy are always excellent quality
Shame about the camera, thought about getting one from Giztop or AliExpress but i wouldn't replace my Pixel 7 Pro with this, possibly just use them in rotation but camera isn't as good as the 7 Pro and either way I'll be upgrading to the 8 Pro in about 2 months which should have an even better camera with better AI/ML post processing.
I think ZTE is doing a good job but yeah ML changes the game here and ZTE is not even playjng this game yet

Roughly the same though 1" camera phones have a bit less fuzzy bokeh balls

Maybe because you have the global version. That software vastly differs from the chinese version

Notifications are working but some apps need to be put on the whitelist in the battery settings.
Updates I received one and we are on June 2023 security right now.

Ich war bei meinem 12 s ultra ein wenig enttäuscht, bis ich die perfekten Einstellungen gefunden habe zum Fotografieren.
Ich bin noch am testen, aber das Xiaomi hat ein mehr premium Kamerasetup. Das hier beim ZTE ist eher auf Sparflamme. Sieht toll aus mit 35mm als Hauptkamera, wegen der Perspektive, aber sobald man etwas reinzoomt sieht man doch schon den Qualitätsunterschied. So jedenfalls mein Ersteindruck.

No 4k recording on it
Why not the z50 ultra? With bigger sensor and more resolution, but I think this one can beat honor 90 pro and oppo reno 10 pro plus also the nothing phone 2 and the Motorola edge plus....
Z50 Ultra does not have a bigger sensor just more resolution and overall looks more like an upgraded version of the Axon 40 Ultra that I already own.

@@alexthehammer9282 Keep in mind its a 35mm lense. So sensor size is not 1:1 comparable with a 24mm lense smartphone. Their performance with 1/1.7" sensor is more comparable with 1/1.3" on 24mm lense smartphones.
@@lltechview yeah like a crop sensor tech for smartphone, I get it, still I'd love to see in future 1 inch ultra wide sensor with gimbals and 1/ 1.2 main periscope zoom to start at 18 to 23mm but it's far away I know, thanks for the knowledge 😎 I like your channel so much

I have a z50s pro global, but I was surprised that it does not have a studio to view and edit photos and videos like in Xiaomi and Samsung phones. How can I get rid of this problem?
Install Goolge Photos and a video editor.
did you notice big differences between Chinese and global rom , i can buy one with global rom but im not sure cose i cant find any video with that rom.

@@lltechviewbut it probably isn't one the 5 most expensive phones. I imagine a lot of people are interested in the cost:benefit as a value proposition. Take into account most people are not going to be blowing up images and pixel peeking. Someone else mentioned the p60 pro, which I admit I didn't realise could be had for about €800 if you look East, but there again, people will complain about no 5G.
I just bought the global version and the only thing that bothers me is the scroll speed. My past phone was a Poco X4 and I have been able to put them side to side performing some normal scroll and when the Z50s scrolls through a list of 7 videos, the Poco scrolls up to the double. I don't know if it is a thing with my phone in particular or is its normal behavior. Can you help me with this? Thank you
Don't have the Poco. I did not notice any scroll speed issues when comparing with my Xiaomi devices.

I did do manual mode tests for the 1IV for sure. Even RAWs.

The moment with the flickering of the AMOLED screen was ignored. And judging by the video, the 9:41 screen flickers very strongly - this means that the eyes will be very tired. And eye fatigue will lead to the fact that vision will deteriorate. All interaction with the smartphone through the screen is its main characteristic. Why not put IPS screens that are essentially no worse, but there is no flicker? So the phone is garbage.
Yeah you are right. It has a PWM dimming of almost 2000Hz so in darker environments this will kick in to reduce eye strain.
If you suffer from issues thats really a problem because afaik almost all AMOLED or Super AMOLED screens use this kind of technology.
