Hella curious to see how Tom Salta is gonna do with the Outlast Trials Soundtrack, from what I heard at 3:25 I am very excited. Shame Samuel Laflamme wont be back as I freaking loved his work which was very memorable, but excited for how Tom Salta will handle it nonetheless

As someone who wants to work in the games industry, videos like these are amazing. Especially when it comes to music and sound design. Resident evil village did something similar with the making of their final credits music and it’s so cool to see something similar for this game. Can’t wait to see the full documentary
I will miss Samuel Laflamme, I listen to his musics of Outlast Themes on Spotify, especially the Outlast 2, his titles and the concept of sounds were so unique.
But when I heard the violin sound of Mr. Tom, it's already sounds good. Orchestrated sounds for this game is going to be fireee 🔥 I’m thrilled just thinking about it.

@@redbarrelsgames my comment stands. Music can completely change the mood of anything and a different director is going to give it a different feel when the first 2 had such an iconic soundtrack.

I'm excited what made Outlast scary was the score Samuel Laflamme did an amazing job making that music to drive us into the story but also to scare the crap out of as we investigate inside mount massive i'm excited to see what Tom brings to this game!

So far the music in the background was cool, and it's an interesting take to use something innocent and with it's help create something creepy ngl.
You guys did such an amazing job with the sound design for this game. The ambiance is terrifying it really keeps me at bay all the time. I love the music, voice acting, and the in game voice chat effect that makes it sound like you’re actually in the game. Red Barrels has the best devs!!

I am so excited, I really just hope we will only be stunning enemies rather than fighting them
I get the feeling at the most extreme case the weapons will let you kill just a single enemy.
If the game is scaled to the fact there are constantly four players I doubt even four players armed with one time use weapons being able to kill a single enemy each will do much against 20 test subjects.
I don't think you'll be using weapons aggressively, likely you will use them when backed into a corner as an escape tool
The new theme is utterly brilliant. So catchy yet so creepy
They look and speak so nicely. Can't imagine how these lovely people can create such horror things... Hope the game will be fantastic!

For me as an Filmmaker who is in the beginning of his career, this Documentary parts already give me a really great look into making something and bring it to life in its best way. Thanks Red Barrels im really thankful for that!

The whole soundtrack has the theme of an asylum or a hospital. The music sounds very strict, repeating, piercing, just like hospital procedures. Following harsh demoralizing rules to ensure your survival.

It seems like there’s going to be objects on the map that you can accidentally bump into or knock over that will create an audio queue for the killer and reveal your presence. Neat
The music is already sending chills up my spine. Not to mentioned the theme of MK Ultra experiments is something that needs awareness. You guys got this, I truly believe this can be one of the best horror games of this decade.

Still sad that Laflamme won't produce the audio :( He did an amazing job with Outlast 1 and IMHO an even better job with Outlast 2's sound design. Very creative.

As excited as I am for the new score, I can't lie that I'm not gutted Samuel Laflamme isn't back... He created some of my all time favourite pieces of music... ever.

Liking the behind-the-scenes content, hope there will be at least a few more. Though I worry if they'll tell us a movie based on Outlast is ever in the works. The idea of a theatre full of people not wearing "underscares" is almost as terrifying.
