They would at least acknowledge there is cause for doubt after reaching the south pole or circling the earth, etc. They would also immediately be discredited and disowned by the flat earth community especially the Type B's following this.
      B) A con artist who knows exactly what they are doing and are using this platform for personal gain at the expense of all the type A's. They will actively reject any attempt to put them in a position where such a compromising situation could occur, or simply deny it all after the fact.

Not only is Nathan Oakley demonstrably wrong, he is also thoroughly unpleasant.
There are people for whom the word "twat" seems to have been invented. I contend that Nathan Oakley is such a person.

Why don’t you get in a boat and keep going straight towards the oceans horizon and see what happens. If you see Thor flying over a rainbow bridge and a giant waterfall, you were right.

If this your first encounter with Nathan Oakley? Nathan Oakley has a particular 'debate' style (using the term loosely). Make no claims (so can never be debunked), and attempt to debunk all opposing viewpoints with semantics, mis conceptions and outright lies. Welcome to a debate with Nathan Oakley.
On a separate note, over the course of the month, there is a slight wobble that allows us to see about 59% of the moon's surface. if we can see more than half, and at all times the moon looks 'round' for all directions/perspectives, then it has to be a 3D sphere. It cannot be 'flat', it can ONLY be a sphere.

Look up "Stereoscope photos Moon". Photographers taking photos of the moon a few months apart makes use of the Moons Libration and gives a very 3D view (some better than others). If you have a VR head set (or similar) they work really well. If not, but you can cross your eyes well, then copy the image, crop and save the two halves separately, swap their positions and display side by side on a screen and cross your eyes. You will have two flat images flanking a beautiful 3D image in the middle :) The Moon looks like a ball stuck on a black background. :)

Love when flat earthers are like "OMG we don't say that! That's not our model! That's dumb!". Like, you know y'all would alleviate a lot of that problem if we could just get a standard model which explains everything we observe, with detailed numbers, thanks.

That’s the entire problem; it isn’t possible to create a unified model that explains all observations where the earth is flat since, you know, it isn’t..

@@jjevans1693 Yes, that's where you start generating predictions. "This model explains things we know and it says this thing we don't know should be X". If thing we don't know turns out to be X, it is a strong point in favour of the model. If it is Z, it means the model is wrong somehow.

@@jjevans1693Regarding the shape of the earth however, we do have the facts we need to determine it and to create a model that predicts all observations.
