Thank you for your video. I love that you shared the ups and downs of crafting. Issues do occur. I appreciate that you shared how you moved on with the original project and shared the final project.
@@angelahackwell1838 does it read on regular cardstock? If so, then it's working properly and is most likely the reflection off the shiny material interfering. Think of the camera as looking directly into the sun & trying to see something. That's what the camera sees. You can try things like turning down the lights or covering the marks with a matte tape, but it may take some attempts to see if it will read.
Hi. New to Juliet. If my mat is not sticky on my other cutter I will use painters tape to stick my material to the mat. Can I do this with the Juliet? I realize that tape may mess up paper but I have a work around that I use so it doesn’t rip my paper. Thanks.
@@marybcreative you can try but if the design doesn't cut correctly, the lines don't meet up, or the material moves.... It's not a machine fault that it's not working. Materials should be held down completely when cutting in order for the cut lines to meet and things not to shift or get jammed in the machine.
Thank you for another informative video. Leaving the snafu makes you more relatable. When moving blade over registration marks, are you lining it with the housing/tip of blade?
You want the tip of the blade to be just inside the bottom left registration mark to start. I show that at minute 14 of this step-by-step Print and Cut tutorial - ua-cam.com/video/_MJJFyBFO_U/v-deo.htmlsi=GQnv0WM_HsVU_5DY
Hi, quick question! Do you find that the print output on the Siser is better than the Cameo 4? The colour output on the Cameo's software is terrible and I often have to do color corrections.
This all varies by the user - computer screen, colors, printers, etc. You can download the software and setup a print and cut for free and do a print test. Download on the Siserna.com site.
Should be able to, just have to turn it into a print and cut. The file type will determine how to do that. And the image resolution will affect the quality of the print.

@@SwiftCreekCustoms I did adjust all the way up to 50 in force ( maybe not enough) but didn't check for debris. Adjusted the blade and checked to be sure i was using the right cut settings. I'll play some more and see what's up. I've cut DTV before and had my settings saved. Maybe it's the blade. Thanks so much for writing back and for all your videos. They are so helpful!
@@elizabethk8938 I've not had to go higher than the recommended 15 or 20 for DTV that Siser suggests. If it continues to do it, then I'd recommend a new blade. You are only trying to cut through the top layer, correct?

You are welcome!
Thanks for letting that one show unedited. We all have issues at times and sometimes it’s overwhelming when you watch only “perfect” samples. ❤️

a doubt, so if I need to change the configuration it would be on the machine instead of the leonardo software
I don't understand the question. Can you explain more?

Hello! Good videos -- I just got one of these are you able to tell me what kind of material you used in this video, was it HTV or Printable Vinyl?
EasyColor DTV, got it! Thank you
Would you recommend this machine over the cricut for print and cut?
Yes. Much larger space than Cricut and more accurate from what I've seen.
All of a sudden, my Juliet won’t cut my DTV! I don’t know how to fix it. Any suggestions?
Did you check inside the blade for debris?
Adjust the force setting?
The blade depth?
Double check the cut settings before cutting?
