The dandruff she has is worse because of a yeast problem combined with the suffocating conditions of being pinned up like that for 4 months. If you have a dandruff condition doing that type of hair style isn't good.

It's a very difficult road keeping the condition under control. Takes time and a lot of testing out products and such to get the right combo. Still have times when your body will decide to go crazy creating a new episode. Works in a similar fashion that skin conditions like psoriasis produce. Still trying to figure out how it doesn't itch like crazy for the ones that will go this long with their hair like that.
You should watch this movie called “Crooklyn.” It’s a movie based in the 90s and in the film, an older Black woman who has a light skinned daughter called the darker skinned little girl’s hair “nappy” and that she didn’t have “good hair” like her light skinned daughter. So the older woman straightened it. The little girl’s mother was not happy about it.
If someone doesn't have the same features or hair or even shape as you how can you make them feel confident about their own body and appearance. You have to love yourself. You got to live with that hair, body and face.
