It reminds me if the film The Thorn birds ( you probably don't know this film lol ) thst has a forbidden scent from the animalic and truffle, and the innocence of Meghie and the cardinal priest. The thorn birds would die after they pricked themselves on the thorns of the rose.....wow you're very lucky to own it. It has been reformulated and renamed rose tonnere. Treasure it, I'm happy you have it. 💕💕
you know i will be looking for that film ! XD yeah, i heard it is reformulated to Rose Tonnere now.... it was really green when I got it, but i noticed it to be sweeter now... a special occasion fragrance for sure
I do like purple flowers, I find it has to be certain ones. Lilac, Iris, heliotrope are lovely. I like how they can be fresh (lilac) smelling and some can be powdery (iris, heliotrope).

I need more purple florals in my collection, I am slowly learning that I love them. I don't know why they aren't used more in designer perfumes, are they seen as old fashioned or too delicate? Does delicate maybe not sell on the designer market?
I havent tried noir de noir from TF, but I had a dupe of it from Armaf.. as far as I can remember, it was more patchouli heavy, and more of a deep and earthy rose… Une Rose, although deep, has a lightness to it’s scent profile… a tiny hint of sweetness too 😊
