In an interview with Doris Roberts she stated the writers eliminated many of Robert's lines because Brad's wonderful facial expressions made the lines unnecessary. You knew what he was thinking by his face & that is true.
Realeyesrealizereallies none That is awesome. That actually reminds me of the late Bea Arthur. During her role as Dorothy Zbornak she could make you laugh from her facial expressions alone.
This is so true. I really think Brad Garrett is the Jackie Gleason of the modern TV era. His facial expressions and delivery are priceless! Each of the characters on this show was great in their own way, but Robert will always be my favorite. Brad Garrett should have won more Emmys for this role.

The wedding dance was freaken awesome! I loved watching the guests enjoying the dance. Then the black and white photos were beautiful. Debra and Marie especially looked beautiful in the photos. I loved Frank kissing Marie on the cheek.
Thank God they still show this on tv land everyday from about 2 to 6. Honestly one of the highlights of my day.

Brad Garett, impeccable voice, polished dancer, perfected non-verbal communication. What a brilliant actor! It took "You almost got fired?" to get a smile out of Robert, hahaha! Ending Robert and Amy's wedding dance was perfect; and, the photos especially since there are those who are no longer with us. Nice.

Oprah did a special with the cast when they ended after 9 seasons. Brad Garrett was honestly the funniest cast member in the interview. He is so talented. I love hearing his voice when my kids watch cartoons like finding Nemo😊❤❤❤❤

Yeah, me too, I love to keep watching Amy and Robert's wedding dance and I also love the show where Ray is teaching Robert how to dance in the basement! So much fun! And the show where Amy and Robert are dancing in Marie and Frank's living room, with Everyone else sitting in the living room joining in. I love all of the music and dance scenes, they are just such a celebration of life!

I love Raymond shows so much.The cast go together like they are family. Wish they were on the air today the children could have grown up and had family's an Ray was his dad made over,Debra could have turned into A God rest her soul Doris. You go from there. For years, I always thought the show should have been called "Everybody Loves ROBERT" as Brad Garrett certainly made the show what it was! He was my favorite character on the show and he didn't have to try very hard to bring big laughs from the audience.

This show was on during the late 90's, and early 2000's. I know because I began watching after my brother, his wife, kids, and my dad did.
Love it especially when Brad dances with Amy at their wedding, to Jungle Love and the photo shoot! He is the heart of the show!

This is the only show that has changed my life. It allowed me to figure out at a young age that marriage isn't for me, I feel like shit every single day but this show never fails to make me laugh and smile, and it showed me that it's best to just be yourself. There's very few people in this world I wanna thank, but everyone who worked on that show gets a big thanks from me.

My parents were both Italian/American and so, as one who lived it, 'Marie' (Doris Roberts) was absolutely perfect as an Italian mother, just superb! The only thing she failed to do was beat her kids Italian Style; with the dreaded Wooden Spoon 😜!
