    1) use trello to keep track of changes
    2) revise by sections- first pick a topic that needs change like ‘world bldg’ and then read through the manuscript making changes only to that. Then move to the next topic
    3) pick the hardest topic first like structure and then move to easy parts
    4) pick a chapter out of your novel and see if that makes any difference to the plot or character, if it doesn’t then REMOVE it
    5) Rewrite the stuff in a proper way in a seperate document (copy stuff that u like) and continue. This way you’ll know if what para’s are really needed or not.
Loved the explanation, so decided to make notes in the comment section. Hope this helps others too. Best wishes♥️

This was SO helpful! I’ve watched many different videos on revision and yours was the only one that actually helped me go forward past the 1st draft stage! Thank you☺️

I tried the retyping method and it killed my motivation so much I almost gave up on the story. I really wanted to give it a try but it felt too limiting and like a huge waste of my time. I like your Frankenstein method soooo much better.

Should you print off your novel or not? I don't have a printer at home and no one is printing now due to covid. Any ideas of what we should do as writers who have finished their first draft? Thank you 😊

This is a good question. Are you near a FedEx or other business shop where you could order a printout of your file online, then just go pick it up when it's ready? Do you need it in print to edit? If you are going to submit it - may places limit submissions to email. Congratulations on finishing it!
