This reminds me of christianity in one way.
Its basically the same because both scriptures of both religions contain monotheistic verses.
About the bible I know its 100% monotheistic besides of some beliefs of paul but the main part is indeed monotheistic.
I dont know much about the hindu scriptures but even them are apparently monotheistic but we see which directions both religions went.
The hindus worship more than 1.000.000 gods and the christians worship a triune god which is obviusly three gods because 3 different beings that are all 100% must be count as 3 gods.
52% of all christians are catholic which means a big part of christians worship saints and mary (peace be upon her).
In the orthodox church they prostrate in front of idols.
