A forced acceptance value is as much as value of horse dung.
Majority of Islamic scholars are Persians from Bukhara, Samarqand, Khorasan (Afghanistan), Tajikistan and Iran. Farsi is the second language of Islam after Arabic. People who hate Persians are yahudis and Pashtuns. This is a fact.

Yes islam was forced on us by the sword. Just read the History of Al-Tabari(himself a Persian) and you will see how it was done. After 1400 years Iranians still have great difficulties accepting most of Islamic sharia and on verge of a major anti-islam revolution. A simple look at the current situation will tell you that

I think Dr. Zakir Naik should have given a direct answer to this young man's question. Khosru was invited to Islam and he had been given choice either to accept Islam or give jijiya. Khosru did a hineous act killed the messengers sent by Prophet Muhammad (saws) and tore apart prophet's letter. Khosru earned wrath of Allah and hence the destruction of his empire by Muslims. When Muslim conquered Persia Salman Farsi(ra) was in charge of Persia. People were given choice to accept Islam or to pay jijiya. Khosru was very arrogant under estimated Arab Muslim soldiers. Khosru had the best army and weapons but that didn't deter Arab Muslims. All those kings who dishonoured Prophet's (saws) invitation letter Allah inflicted them with severe punishment. Byzantine and Ethiopian kings are examples.
Why they gave choice? Who are you?
It very easy to praise and be servant to God or Allah. But very difficult to know God and why he playing with our lives. Let's keep trying until we find what is God. Now the great thinkers are at. Half way mark, but our coming generations will surely do our impossible work.

Iranians did not accept Islam. Iranians fought against Islamic armies for almost 200 years. North Iran (Mazandara) fought even 150 years after the defeat of the Persian Armee in Ghadesyeh. Do some study before giving speeches.
The Persian fellow is quite correct about political Islam (ISIS of 1400 years ago) invasion to Iran and all Middle East based on historical references. 1: the sun appeared to set in a muddy pool to a certain man. It's called frames of reference.
2: nowhere does it say earth is flat. Allah said that the earth was spread out like a carpet. Key word: like. It's metaphorical. There's some sort of symbolism, but I'm not aware of it. You'll have to ask someone more qualified.
