My favourite part of every episode is Marc (without fail) going up to the ref at half time to tell him how bad he was 😂 not sure if that says more about the gaffer or the standard of reffing, I suspect more the latter 😅
Big respect to the club the fact that the lads from Lincoln were acknowledged and got to meet the gaffa and even conveniently walk back for the goal to celebrate was incredible to see amazing club 💯💯
Loving the assistant coach screaming “it’s f@cling time ref”… followed by “40 seconds left Mark”… in his next sentence .. great episode .. backs against the wall defending .. 🙌
I remember seeing on twitter that Dan had been sent off inside 3 mins and thinking oh no, then logging back on later on to see the boys had pulled off a 2-1 win. Unbelievable character, well done all involved👏🏻
I used to buy ‘Tiger and Jag’ comic as a boy; ‘Billy’s Boots’ and ‘Roy of the Rovers’ et al I used to look forward to buying the new issue, for the next episode of footballing drama…. This episode of BOA had all the ingredients of Tiger and jag’. the day ‘Billy Dane’ went in goal …. What a superb episode this is; one of a number in this truly gripping series. Thank you BOA.
Was at the game. These boys really are something else. The togetherness is amazing and the fans are behind these boys, win lose or draw. Brilliant production again Rich. Feels like it has a massive crew behind it which is the ultimate compliment to you and your team. I get the refs cant see everything but I dont see the assistants making any decisions apart from throw ins or offsides. Not just one offs and have seen things missed for both teams when the lino has a perfect view.
@@rascaltheref disagree with this at this level assistant referees are empowered to make decisions. They have to be brave if the referee has not given something and I think that's lacking.
@@rascaltheref Thanks Jevon for the insight. At Saturday's game one of the concord defenders spent the entire second half constantly pushing, pulling, tripping up, throwing to the floor the Dorking forward off the ball. Like the ball up the other end of the pitch. The assistant had a perfect view if it and never once raised it for the referee's attention. If the Dorking player had retaliated I'm sure he would have then. The Dorking player scored 4 in the end so had the last laugh but I thought it was beyond something that was 'part of the game' I guess that may have been the case that the ref had said beforehand that he would deal with anything like that

Absolutely brilliant game to watch what an effort from all the lads 💪 would love to be at a Dorking game like this might try n make the trip down from glasgow for one big fan of the boa series watched every one of them keep up the good work 👏

Ref was blind and stupid. Should be banned from refereeing. If that’s a foul yet the thing at the other end isn’t then what the hell. He’s been paid, no wonder referees get hate when they lack a brain
Great episode. If you go without a keeper on the bench then you need a competent outfielder. I wonder how much the occasional session with the GK coach would improve someone like Alfie. Surely a session a fortnight would make him go from competent to decent in a few months.
@@Cocodmoan Jack, it takes a week to make one episode if we work full time on it. to avoid people knowing the score we would have to live stream 12 cameras, which would mean buying an OB truck, hiring an on-set scriptwriter, hiring another narrator etc. Most of our followers don't look up Dorking's scores. You'd have to actively spoil it for yourself if you're not a fan of the National League South. And if you look at the big budget shows (Sunderland 'Til I Die, All or Nothing) they can take 12-24 months to release a series, so knowing the scores isn't necessarily an issue for many people anyway. Airing six weeks after the event allows us to know what plot lines are going to be relevant long term. It also means that, should we miss any games, we won't run out of episodes. You're just going to have to trust us - the later we go, the better it is for the show.
I actually stay away from the standings. I don't want to know. I wait for a new episode instead. I like the uncertainty and excitement that brings. Well done BoA. I've watched every episode you've done. I'm excited to see more. Just wish we had decent football here in America to go and watch! Cheers.
Ed Harris had arguably the performance of the season only to ruin it all by telling us he was doing whatever his mrs tells him to later that evening. Lost a lot of respect.

Yes! We thought that was a telling, typically football moment.
Extra tenner in Alfie’s wage packet
Think he’s probably alright lol!

As frustrating as it is for football fans, It depends on what the Referee says pre-match to his assistants!

I spat my out coffee, your pope joke followed by "we're going to hell" was class!
yeah, not sure that a similar joke about certain other religions would have gone down quite as well perhaps.....
There's not a team with more compelling story in the country than Dorking. I'm a fan!

This might be my favourite episode of all time (so far) - an absolute classic, mainly for the bench action!
My old ticker was going at the end there amazing win and great performance from alfie that's got to be my favourite Dorking uncovered ever!!!
Marcs grin when they hit the bar at the end was great knew they had got away with one brilliant as ever keep it lads come on dorking

Was amazing to be there. The crowd were the 11th man that day
Kennedy seems like an amazing teammate and person, what a lad. Gutted he missed the penalty, he and Alfie both seem like such class lads
Wonder if Alfie wanted it?
What a great game Afie done a great job.. eveyone in the side done a job.. best performance so far ...

And that is why we love this game
Great work from alfie .
In all the seasons playing can't ever say I wanted to go in goal.
All in all though fantastic team effort.

I might just have to take a trip from Birmingham to see these guys 💯
Referee got that spot on, Dorking player went to ground before any contact and the sending off was correct. Well done Ref 👏
Gotta agree. What about the handball tho 🤔
How about the kick on Josh Taylor and the handball?
Spot on pal. Never a pen

I see this Elliot Atkins on these videos against Dorking. What’s the problem pal?
My fav episode so far! And even though I’m watching this on holiday in r9me I’ll come back a pop the gloves on if needed!
Proper football this. Absolutely my second team now.
hope this will be a thing next season for dorking
Simply top of the pile in this genre.
I have been binge watching this series, fuck me what an episode this was, brilliant 👏
They may have a cockerel on their badge but these Dorks boys have got hearts of lions!
Really good episode. Enjoyable content
Used to love the charlwood series but this Dorking one is so much better!
18:22 caught me way off guard 😂😂

love this series sm, it’s such an insight into the football leagues. will we see anymore of mike and Barks anytime soon?
We hope so!

Top class stuff.
I never knew Marc owned Crossfield Dusty. 2/1 was unbelievable for Hove on Saturday!!!
Nothing else I'd rather be doing right now ❤️
An "I was there" moment
Liar he’s been in the sticks for Cobden before conceded 4 against Soberton lucky we scored 5 👍

Here we go best not about Sunday. FIFA line so funny
What a game!

Why did I think keepers couldn’t get a straight red 😂

why is the 6 weeks behind
Lots of reasons. Ultimately because we want it to be. In fact we’d sooner be a year behind!

21:30 hahah
Not a penalty he was already on the way down before any contact. Definitely a red for the keeper
Marc wasn't feeling "gentleman" by SL last week, this week he turned off M24. Bit picky with the music i guess
Caps off 😉 to BoA another sterling production
No way the keeper fouled him it really looked like the defender did instead.
We played it though a lot and technically, nobody fouled him. But Dan did graze him.
