Three days after their epic win against Hemel, Dorking Wanderers head south to face Eastbourne Borough in a Tuesday night match under the floodlights.

This channel was my best find of 2021. Algorithm actually did its job, Marc would be proud.

Having seen Jack Currie regularly in Wimbledon’s first team in League Two at the start of this season, I can also confirm he’s mustard! Cool to see this episode become the Jack Currie show, with him mentioned so frequently throughout.

I’m enjoying Beardy featuring more in recent episodes, interesting to see someone who has almost as much influence on the team as the Gaffer. I have to get to a home game one day!

This shit happens, remember being a player in the top of the league team, won every game so far, faced the very bottom of the league in one game and couldn't put a foot right, lost 3-0.
I play football and this gets me motivated to get fitter and ready for match days.
Standing in a room with athletes gives us the same fitness motivation!

What was the Barry Glendenning comment about? Has Glendenning had a pop at this channel or something?
He mocked us for being on TikTok and UA-cam then refused to watch it. Also, he said that a journalist going to Qatar for the World Cup was akin to a war correspondent going to Ukraine, which was enough for us to decide he deserved to be the butt of many a joke.

They did, and it didn’t work.
Can't help but feel the management team had a large part to play in this defeat. Far too much input into the players pre-match and build up about complacency, seems like Marc already had in his mind that a point would be alright going off his pre-match interview.
Then going 2-0 up and dominating, telling them to take their foot off the pedal etc.. slow the game down. Just completely mixed messages.

Why does Mark always give so much tactical information about how the opposition, how they play, key player(s) etc so shortly before the game? Surely they should have worked on that in training, so the players know well in advance? Just doesn't seem very well prepared?
That’s a question for Marc more than us, but for what it’s worth, they only train twice a week and while some of this stuff will come up then, it’s probably best to give them the specifics closer to when they need it.
