He's extremely eccentric and his weird energy creates awkwardness in other people which gets bounced around afterwards between the participants creating a truly peculiar experience that is funny, sweet and even "scary", as in this video.

the questions conan asks are scripted , but jeff goes on to talk and gets out of the subject always which provides funny casual talk

Jeff Goldblum could make anyone uncomfortable, but in the sweetest way. It's like when you meet someones mom for the first time lol
If i had to sit through 5 minutes of a host highlighting my coping mechanisms for social awkwardness, i'd get a little uncomfortable as well, many times you can see Jeff nonchalantly trying to change the subject as if it's no big deal and conan just keeps coming back to it. In the end, Jeff even resorts to mentioning the set and wondering about fake flowers to try and change the subject... A legend such as Jeff deserves far better...

I came to a slow realization that Jeff's character in first Jurassic Park and his insane attitude was pretty much Jeff as a person, barely any acting.

Jeff is amazing for including Andy in the interview. Almost no other guest does that, makes him feel like a really nice person.
He is usually off-screen, so he doesn't have as much of a presence compared to Conan. But I always feel bad when he gets ignored

Conan show is the most comfortable late night show to date. Everything is so light hearted and fun. And much of it is due to how well his staff are treated and the work atmosphere. It can't help but to leak into the actual live show

Devious 1 -- Jeff Goldblum is like that. He's got such a huge personality where he just meanders from one topic to the next. He's like a big kid, so to speak. He likes having fun, and he likes having fun with other people (even more). So that's why he gets sidetracked, a lot. But it's charming in it's own unique way.
That was a great moment towards the end there with Andy singing❤️ (still on my Jeff Goldblum binge btw)

You can tell Jeff Goldblum’s son Charlie is lucky to have him as a Dad. He is eccentric, and when he’s a teenager it will probably drive him nuts because Jeff is so unlike his friends parents. It is when he becomes older that he will realize boy I was so lucky to have a talented Dad who truly loved him.
