I think we should all just stick with Coach for the hubbies that aren’t into luxury. My husband isn’t into designer anything but does appreciate the leather quality of Coach after I introduced him to it and he’s on his second wallet that I have gifted him (his overnight bag is also Coach and it’s holding up amazingly well). I think Coach is very underrated still. Not all bags are created equal, but the good ones blow away some higher end designers in my opinion… AND I always appreciate how well protected and packaged their items are. Not just chucked loose in a box to bounce around carelessly (I’m looking at you, LV!) Great purchases, thanks for sharing!

My collection consists of LV, Chanel (new and vintage), YSL, etc. and I forayed into vintage Coach a year or 2 ago. It has taught me so much about leather and now I find that I have difficulty in accepting the quality of the leather of my Chanel pieces. I’m curious to know if you’ve felt the same since you’ve had experiences with new and vintage leathers. I have internal conflict that my designer pieces will retain value, but is it worth it? None of the others were glove tanned leather which I learned over time is my fave from Coach. I sold the Cassie 19 in grained leather to one of my subscribers. I did not make any money off the sale but was happy to let it go to someone who would enjoy it. It felt a bit heavy for me when worn crossbody (I live in NYC and walk a lot and the strap was digging into my shoulder) so that was the main reason I let it go. The larger original Cassie in black, I gifted to my mom but she didn’t want it (she actually preferred the Coach rambler 16 in glove tanned leather like mine 😂) so I sold the Cassie for her and bought her the rambler 16 to twin with me!. I didn’t make a profit on that either. And my very first Coach bag now belongs to my daughter. It’s in patent leather. Hope this helps!

Someone else asked this below. Great minds think alike! 😉 The notebook doesn’t lay completely flat on the left side due to the turnlock but I’d say it’s about 90% flat and then the notebook cover acts as a base so writing hasn’t been an issue for me on that side!

I’m a pen hoarder! 😂 I don’t have a particular preference as long as it writes well and smoothly but I do love the old school pilot ink pens (fine tip).
meanwhile, my first 'designer' handbag when I was teenager is fossil 😂 I was obssessed with their designs! they were really my style. at one point I collected a lot of handbags, watches and purses. eventually I get rid of them and kept only two crossbody bags! I was overwhelmed with so many collections. decided to let go although it was hard at first. those two bags are dearly to me. one is my everyday bag and it shows little sign of wear and tear. I was shocked. the quality used to be good but these days they were lacking. the latest purchase was made in 2019, didn't use that much but it peel off which is funny bcos leather shouldn't peel. although I completely aware of the leather they used not the highest quality. but to peel?? that's unacceptable knowing how much you paid. anyway I had stopped purchase since then and my current obsession is mulberry 😅

I’ve already started writing in the notebook and left side doesn’t lay flat bc of the turn lock but I don’t mind bc it doesn’t impede my writing. The cover of the notebook itself is sturdy enough that it acts as a base to write on even on the left side. I have zero complaints!

She wanted the rambler 16 instead, same as mine - so now we’re twinning! 😂 As for the Cassie 19 I had in chalk color- it was beautiful but I sold that to a subscriber who wanted it. My husband is the same! I just got him the same style wallet from Louis Vuitton. It’s called the PINCE CARD HOLDER WITH BILL CLIP.
I looked at that as an option but I didn’t see any leather version, only canvas.
