Bennett could have done the decent thing and stop once he realized he made a mistake. Instead of that, he accelerated and damage the car he just hit even more. Very distasteful
Strange wasn’t it? I think he may have realised he’d braked in response to drivers up ahead, eased off the brakes and then carried too much speed in the end. Being in the middle of the whole scenario isn’t easy to be fair so I can see how it might happen…
@@Ben_LaBrocaoh I think they just misjudged. They could possibly have thought there could be a crash so gave a bit of space. Amazingly professional video again.
@@Ben_LaBroca I'm assuming he probably disconnected before it was possible, but did you message him in game to get his side of the story by any chance? I'm curious what he was thinking there.
@ surprisingly everyone disconnected real quick Matt - I was expecting some tasty back and forth on chat but everyone left the server. It’ll remain a mystery!
@@Ben_LaBroca It happens to the best of us. Great racing and content as usual I always enjoy your style of videos and think you’d be a great commentator.
is the UI you have on screen something you make for these videos or is it some sort of graphical setting in iRacing? it’s so clean yet still shows so much information
The driver ahead was a complete knob. You can see after he initiated contact he just floors it and tries to plow the other car out of the way. Speaks volumes to their character and racecraft, or lack there of.
I was looking at the races for this week. I had to decide between carnage at Laguna Seca in GT3 or carnage at Monza in IMSA. I went with Monza and I'm running the Caddy LMDh. I'm using it as practice for doing IMSA all next season since I'm hoping the Ferrari 499P will be a great car to race all season.
Ah mate that’s a great shout - I’m definitely tempted to do likewise and finally make the step up to IMSA. The new Ferrari might be the thing that swings it!
Personally looks like you may have “helped” the incident along with the little tap. But he brakes way earlier than on previous laps. I would say racing incident.

Very entertaining, and fantastic editing as always. :)
Ah cheers Matt!!
Oh Laguna seca, what a deadly yet entertaining track
Haha yes - doesn’t matter which class of cars, it guarantees action!
Not sure what happened there but the car ahead of you braked 70 metres too early then couldn’t make the corner. Very odd.

Just a tip for you, you should be shifting immediately when the rev lights turn blue
Ah mate I know this but then get sloppy during races! One to improve on!

I didn't know this, so thank you :)
@@MattRadicalYeah it’s deep in the driving manual and I wish they’d make it more known. Every car has a different optimal shift point.
Wait I just noticed that we should be in the same splits! I’ll keep a look out for you now
Oh awesome mate - hope to see you on the grid!
Damn you are good at commentaries
Ah thank you mate - appreciate that!
Fantastic editing and commentary, was a treat to watch!

Hi buddy - it’s a third party app called RaceLab Apps. There is a free and a paid for version and both are customisable!
Wow, what a belter. Laguna never fails to provide great entertainment, really enjoyed that.

Laguna Seca: The most terrifying, yet most entertaining/fun track(aside from the Nurburgring. :D ). 😂
Haha you might just be right there. Never less than intense!
The way he rams his way out of this situation at the end :D classic B style
