Roxana what a lovely video. I planted my first 3 new hydrangeas this year, a limelight a little lime and a vanilla Fraise. Can’t wait to see them next year as they’ll be more established. Yours are all gorgeous. Your limelight hedge is amazing. Do love your music choices too, and great photography. 😍 and you have snow! ❄️
Hello Roxanne, I just want to thank you for all your time and dedication that you put into creating content and making sure that we get the full effect of everything. You have done an amazing job.
An all season hedge!!! My favorite season is when they're full of beautiful blooms, but the snow-capped dried flowers is a close second. Thanks for sharing. :)
They are beautiful during the growing season but just as pretty in the winter even with the snow on them. Like the way you did month by month a good job. Stay Safe till the next time and MERRY CHRISTMAS
What a well-done video. I am always looking to find what plants look like in all 4 seasons, not just their blooming season. Subscribed for more great info! Thank you!!😊
This is Gwen. I live in South Carolina and your hedge is beautiful. I planted two, wished I'd planted more. I love your videos. My husband and I work in the garden together. Great job.
Hello my friends I love your hydrangeas they are so beautiful thank you for sharing this lovely video with us and have a merry Christmas and a happy New Year thank you🎁🎁❤🤗🥂👍
@@SoilandMargaritas I loved watching the whole year round time lapse. I just purchased hydrangeas and plan on making a hedge and I like the clean look at the bottom as well. Wish me luck. I purchased the Quick Firs Fab.
Hello! New subscriber here. Yo estoy en Texas, pero compré unas hortensias después de ver uno de tus vídeos. I'm super excited about them, and this was such a fun video to watch. Keep uploading? We'll keep watching for sure.
Well presented video. So how hot does your Summers get there where you live. I plan on planting a hydrangea hedge with Paniculata ‘Sundae Fraise’ but worry it might be too hot as we get very hot dry summers here in Sydney , Australia. Also we don’t get snow in winter. The hedge will be in full Sun along a front picket fence.
I am in zone 5 (USA zones) and we range from -20 to -15 °F (-28.9 to -26.1 °C) for winter temperature lows, so that gives you an idea of how hardy the perennials need to be in order to come back next year, we get a decent amount of snow but not like other places.
Your LimeLights are beautiful! How old are they and what size pot did you plant? I just ordered tiny quart sized pots. I’ll be sitting on my hands waiting to see them get as big as yours!
Hello there, back in 2016 when I first put them here, they were almost 7 gallon containers... so they were already big, you will have beauties in no time!
Gorgeous! I am starting a limelight prime hedge soon. I ordered 5 of them, but they will be tiny! I hope mine will look as pretty as yours. How many feet apart were they placed? Limelight prime is a little smaller in H and W. Thanks for the tips.
I am so dang Inspired!!! I can't wait to have mature hydrangeas like this! You've done such a beautiful job taking care of them. Did you plant this hedge yourself?
Hey, yes I did... when we first moved to this property there was nothing but grass... so every single plant here has been picked by me :) I am excited for your hydrangeas!
These year I completely missed that step, but in past years I have used espoma products, the holly one is what I use last year but before that I was using Plant food.
your limelight hydrangea branches are long enough to make limelight trees from. Limelight hydrangea trees sell anywhere from $100. -$300. each. It's really easy to grow hydrangea trees.
I feel like this video is the perfect metaphor for life. Each season brings out beauty in a different way.
Absolutely!
They are absolutely gorgeous in every season! Just beautiful! Thanks for the video!
You are so welcome!
So beautiful!!

I have Annabelle but yours are making me want to get some limelight’s as well!! I have a strictly white and green garden but do your blooms turn pink?
Mine don't quite turn pink, at least not where I have them.
Thank you for sharing. Can this hydrangea take full sun?
Yes, absolutely... in my zone 5 these paniculatas can handle the heat, if you are in warmer zones I would probably give them a bit of afternoon shade.
Gorgeous! I am starting a limelight prime hedge soon. I ordered 5 of them, but they will be tiny! I hope mine will look as pretty as yours. How many feet apart were they placed? Limelight prime is a little smaller in H and W. Thanks for the tips.
They are 4’ apart

do you propagate the branches you cut off ?
Not really, I did 2 years ago accidentally and I am trying a few this year, I mainly save them for trellises.
How do you keep them from flopping??
They flop a little, especially when we have big wild storms but they do ok, I don't mind them.
What do you fertilize them with
These year I completely missed that step, but in past years I have used espoma products, the holly one is what I use last year but before that I was using Plant food.
