Context: When God tells the people to OBEY (the messenger), these verses are spoken in the present tense, and yet the commandment was to a generation long since dead. So we as the future generations, although reading the Qur'an as if it was speaking to us now, we know that these signs were revealed centuries ago. We can no longer follow a man who is dead, but we can follow this man's system. What was his system? His system was Islam, his system followed Prophet Ibrahim, he was the hanif. His system was to follow God closely by proclaiming and implementing the Qur'an.

Ahmed did not know how to answer Shamsi’s questions so instead he went to start shouting ‘Oh My God are you hearing this’ or would talk about his intellectual capability and how he understood the English language and that he’s been to school when clearly he is lacking in linguistic knowledge. at the end of the day Ahmeds argument dies with the realisation that the way the salah takes place. in the Quran, Salah is prescribed upon Muslims however the detail is in the sunnah because of the action of the prophet SAW. As a result we must use the Sunnah to Pray etc.

at the end of the day Ahmeds argument dies with the realisation that the way the salah takes place. in the Quran, Salah is prescribed upon Muslims however the detail is in the sunnah because of the action of the prophet SAW. As a result we must use the Sunnah to Pray etc.

Nothing wrong with being a Quranist in my opinion, because then you're trusting in what is absolute & has no mistakes. If you rely on hadith you're relying on the word of men which are prone to mistakes. Qur'an is there for us to understand & incoperate God's teachings in our lives. I only reject hadith that aren't linked with the Qur'an or contradicts it.

You say: "how can you trust the Quran is actually the Quran?" its called faith/belief, just like all other religious people have faith/belief in their scriptures.. You must realise that all scriptures are GUIDANCE..its up to the individual to either accept or reject that guidance.. you dont need man to explain to you how the quran and other scriptures is the quran etc.. Also the challenge set forth by the Quran has up until present day not been met..So through studies and investigating it proves to me that the Quran is the Quran, do not need a man just like me to explain it to me..
@Honour AK Are you asking about the physical book? or the Reading? Question: what is your definition of the word Quran. To answer your question, I believe the Quran is the real Quran cause the creator tells me so.
@Honour AK It was revealed to the prophet in the 6th/7th century. The book was compiled and completed during his lifetime. The master copy was duplicated and came down through the generations.

Some verses are reveal for a certain time however we muslims accept and follow them because it addresses those who believe then and we the believers today. For example surat 5:90 talk about gambling, intoxication. And surat 4:3. putting the limit of marrying women to four and marry one if you cannot put justice among the four women.
Ahmed failed in establishing how he has received the Quran with circular reasoning. May Allah Azzawajal guide him.
