Can't believe hes gone. He will always be a massive inspiration to me and will always inspire millions across the world to get into this sport we all love so dearly.
I'm just baffled at the teams's courage and energy. I always dreamt of learning skating, but was never able to. So having fun watching em.
OMG, I can't believe he's gone. What a monumental loss to the community and his friends and family.
When I look back at all the hills I have bombed over the years, I watch this and can't believe I never really mastered how to slide. I would never be able to take some of those turns at speed, which is one of the reasons I hit a tree and broke a rib. Keep up the good work.

As someone who can stand up slide pretty well, I can't imagine doing what these dudes are doing. This is straight up gnarly and they are incredible.

The views are spectacular. I just did my first mountain run on a family vacation in the great smokey mountains, and it was amazing. Topped out at about 27 so not insanely fast but still one of the most amazing things I have done in my life. This is sick man, Keep doing what you doing.

There's something about it, going super-fast down an empty road with stunning mountain views underneath beautiful clouded skies, and then those magnificent trees just improve the feeling. In this video I am right at home.
What most people don’t know: Austria has also paths trough forests as well. Like this. It was insane racing down a forest on my scooter (non electric/gas). A must visit for every speed fan. The road change from normal street to actually downhill forest tracks. It was unbelievable.
What most people dont know is this is illegal and as an example in switzerland he didnt get a fine because he uploaded it when he was out of the country.
always so tragic when someone this young passes, especially when theyre as gifted as josh was, itll be a long time before we see someone who can shred quite like he did. RIP Josh

Josh, I remember when I was in Kaunertal with my dad around 1990. He was a sports reporter and did a feature on longboarders riding down the pass. The riders were lying down and not standing. As protection they had partly pieces of car tires. The whole thing was also filmed from the helicopter in which I was sitting. It was already cracy back then, but I couldn't have imagined that you would do it standing up now... Greetings from Vienna

I just discovered Josh and it is devastating to hear that he passed away at such a young age. Truly a talented and a well respected man with a very bright future ahead of him. It's really a shame, got tears in my eyes. Don't take life for granted and enjoy every moment. Thanks for making my boring life more happy and content. Godspeed Josh.

Holy crap - at 12:31 when he started getting speed wobbles going 68 mph my heart started pounding. Brought a sudden flashback of eating shit hard on a downhill almost 40 yrs ago

This is so epic thanks for sharing! There's a little town called Alpbach up in the mountains near Innsbruck which is absolutely stunning, it's well worth checking out if you haven't already! Man I love Austria, can't wait to go back there one day! Looking forward to your next video!

@@JoshNeuman Thanks for your reply, much appreciated! The town is less than an hours drive from Innsbruck and is up on a hill overlooking a valley, surrounded by mountains. It's a steep, windy road to drive to the top of the town so it could even be a cool spot for longboarding. It's the type of place you could easily stay for a week and not get bored as there's lots to see around there. Hope you can get there next time!

Super cool! An unbelievable sporting performance from you and wonderfully technically implemented and supported by your great team. I know these roads and my greatest fear as a driver is that around the next corner, I'll run into a cyclist who shoots down the mountain in such a way. I might not be able to cope with a 'longboarder' mentally. Time to see my therapist. :-) LOL

longboarding and freeriding was my favorite thing in the world from 2009-2013. I've moved onto to other hobbies and activities but i love watching all of your videos Josh. Not only are you one of the best riders out there but you are a fantastic ambassador for the sport. Genuinely down to earth and nice dude. p.s. Few things in the world feel as good as throwing a buttery speed check into a fast corner. still dream about it sometimes!
