Dornoch the forgotten derby horse and antiquarian pp winner...SL 2 noses from being undefeated and both are in the race...very good wagering race as 10 panels at Saratoga is demanding...
Seize the gray is going to leave from the one post position and wire the field like his sire did from the one post in the travers. Sloppy track is going to be to his advantage like in the Preakness.
Dornoch will go with him

I like your thinking. I loved Seize the Grey in Preakness then after listening to the so called experts changed horses at last minute. Cost me big and i won’t make the same mistake twice!
Honor Marie will be in the money and wont get mugged like in Derby

I had resilience in Derby, you can’t ignore the big odds and fact that he’s just not as fast as others. Plus he got trounced in his only race at SAR. I see Sierra Leone, Mystik Dan & STG. All three have been consistent and kept best company. Mindframe offers no value and asking a lot but could be a generational horse

As if it wasn't already difficult for me to decide who I like in this race, the weather could make this a real coin flip of a day.
I think the extra steps will affect Mystic Dan, but he has been 1 or 2 in both parts of the Triple Crown races🤔

I took Sieze The Gray for the win at the prequeness, and we all know that was a win. You bet i'm betting on him again. I like bidding on the win or nothing at all. I will also bet for the win.

1¼. Saratoga is a 1⅛-mile track, and it don't have a long-enough straightaway for a 1½-mile start. They'd be starting on the far turn for 1½, and that creates a greater potential for spills as they move toward the inside of the turn as they head for the stretch the first time.

Is there any truth that Mindframe's Uncle is Flightline??? I heard someone say that on another thoroughbred racing channel.
Yes, because Flightline's sire is Tapit making Flightline a son of Tapit. Mindframe's sire is Constitution, who is also a son of Tapit. So technically, Flightline and Constitution are half brothers (both have Tapit as their sire), they are not full brothers as Flightline's dam is the mare Feathered and Constitution's dam is the mare Baffled.
Basically, Tapit is the sire of Flightline and the grandsire of Mindframe through Constitution (Mindframe's sire). It really isn't anything to be shocked about as Tapit is an extremely popular and successful sire and many current and recent top racehorses have him as either a sire or grandsire at this point. You could likewise say Flightline is the uncle of a load of other horses in which Tapit is the grandsire so while it sounds really impressive, it isn't as if Mindframe is the only horse out there with Tapit as the grandsire on his sire's side. There are lots of them.
Now if Mindframe and Flightline also had some significant common female line lineages between them that would be pretty eye catching, but that doesn't really apply to them. I say "doesn't really apply" because they do each have in the 5th generation of their female lines Storm Bird as their 5th gen sire, but that is where commonality in their female line lineages starts and ends.

I don't think Sierra Leone is gonna let STG or anybody -- Mindframe or Mystic Dan, Resilience -- steal another race from him. I heard they have been training him to race on the rail. He may not even need his new bit then! He may need the rail in order to run straight: Now he can open up without all that dirt in his face and all those other horses around! "What are they all doing out here, messing up my workout?" I am still rooting for him because I am so curious to see if they will run him inside -- where he might run straight for the first time in his life.
So my four are Sierra Leone, Mindframe, STG, Mystic Dan, Resilience. Antiquarian, my longshot.
Sierra Leone, Honor Marie, Mystik Dan. I like Mystik Dan but he might be tired with the two races before....Derby and Preakness. Seize the Gray will not be in the top three.
