The diaromas and the "chibi" crap is awful. The cheapening (watering down or simplifying) of *any* Star Wars sets (like the most recent X-wing and TIE) are crap. You obviously like Clone stuff, but that doesn't hold up to "Lego Star Wars Sucks" as a whole. As you're not being very objective. You feel Clone Wars > Original Trilogy. And that's FINE, but the LARGER problem is the cheaper sets with less pieces and details. For example, the TIE Bomber hasn't been done in >15 years or so, so to hate on it because you don't like the Trilogy sets isn't a "great" hill to die on. I agree that they put out garbage sets, but I "feel" as though you're focusing on the wrong issue. I've been buying/enjoying Lego since 1976 (my first set was the Police Motorcycle (set #256). They will always revisit their sets (I totally agree with you that the Yoda Starfighter is an odd choice, but it's a cool ship and if you missed it the first time 'round, then it's nice to have available). Remember that Lego as a company have a lot of metrics that shows "what sells." Like look at the new R2-D2 coming with THAT minifigure? What's THAT about? :)
