"Why didn't I play Harrison last turn?" "Because I want to Harrison Jaraxxus." "YOU FACE JARAXXUS, EREDAR LORD OF THE BURNING LEGION!!!" "...yeah, Jaraxxus."
Too easy... I wont be happy until my sneeds old shredder gives me a lore walker choa, my opponent plays unstable portal and gets a magikarp, I play it and get a sky golem, which drops a shredder which drops a nat pagle from which It draws me an unstable portal which gives me a sneeds old shredder... But thats just me
Question: the things Jaraxxus attacks with, are they some kind of gauntlets or just his own hands? I'm just wondering what exactly Harrison puts in a museum...
The opening of this video was such a tease on the stream--Trump made it look like he was gonna play with Pagle, Tinkmaster, Troggzor and crew, and then he goes "Wait, what is this?" with a heavily implied Kappa. It was really funny.
I was thinking of a card that has the text: "Deathrattle - Summon a random minion that has charge" but i dont think legendaries should be included because grommash, krush and voltron are way too OP to get from a cards Deathrattle effect (Sneeds has a high mana cost to compensate) and only minions that are cards (not e.g. Huffer). There are some other really good minions like doomguard, argent commander and then worse ones like stonetusk boar, bluegill and gnomeregan infantry. I'm struggling to come up with some stats for this minion and a cool name. Any suggestions? I'm just doing this for the fun of it. I'm not sure if this is 100% balanced so feedback would be great.
The difference between randomly summoning a Stonetusk Boar versus Doomguard is just too far apart. The card would have to suck just as bad as Bane of Doom to be 'fair'.
Ryan Stoll That actually helps his point. It's much more random than the card the OP thought of, and you still have to pay afterwords. So unstable portal would be worse, if the card the OP thought of was just a spell that did the same thing. Being a deathrattle minion, you would have no idea at all whether or not it's OP, depending on the specifics.
The problem is, that its either completely UP or completely OP. Somewhat like Mindgames. It would be un-runable, The reason Unstable Portal is used is because if its a bad card you get it at a discount, and if its a good card you get it at a discount, but its still likely to cost a lot. OP's card lacks the consistency of unstable portal and would therefore probably not be run. Mindgames is the most likely parallel.
At 11 hp turn 5 vs Huntard... This cancer bullshit just never dies. It's like beating a dead horse. The punches feel meaty, but ultimately dont do anything. Everytime I play against a Huntard I hear in the back of my head: "WHY. WONT. YOU. DIE!!!!!!!!!"
27:40 would it have been too greedy not to silence the enemy's tirion but instead just hit him with the guy and his own tirion to Harrison his weapon? I mean 5/4 guy on the field for extra pressure, 3 extra cards AND another 5 mana to play aanother minion(healgolem?)
I created a control shaman deck which just wrecks mages and hunters until their heads are up inside their asses. The deck also uses Kel'Thuzad as a removal card when I have a full board and it seems to be reliable.
If you wanted to counter mages and hunters, what about kezan mystic? And more so how do you know your deck will do well vs mech mage? The stronger early game?
I find it interesting that Trump can micro card changes against the meta (harrison vs argus) in order to maximise win percentages, but in another breath he can claim that one big minion (*cough* Fel Reaver *cough*) is good enough to justify burning any other card in his deck just to play it. Perhaps.... He was just being contrary and remains too proud to admit his view was wrong on the Reaver. Hence it quietly never being seen again.
Fel Reaver is still alright. Mech Zoo that ran it phazed out more because of the popularity of Paladin. You basically just lose the game if it gets peacekeeper'd.
The odds of drawing into say black knight if the game goes to turn 12 is 0.5. Because the odds of it being in the top half of your deck is 0.5 Taking an extreme case, the odds of drawing into black knight if the game goes to turn 12 and you start off the game by burning half of your deck, is also exactly 0.5. Because the odds of black knight being in the bottom half of your deck is 0.5 If you know what cards you burned then the difference is that both players know the adjusted odds after the burn. If black knight was burned then the odds of drawing it in a 15 turn game becomes 0. And if you didn't burn it, then the odds become 1. Pre-burn however, the odds are 0.5. The fact that putting cards into the graveyard is irrelevant is why this card (from a different game called magic the gathering) was so good, even without being able to get cards back from the graveyard: gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=247186

That warlock deck is a bit weird for the combo. Here is my old version of it, with card draw and many tools to clear the board almost every turn. You will end up having the combo 90% of times by turn 10, if not alexstraza at the turn before against priests or warriors. bit.ly/1FhpRHa
Blizz said their stastics show all animal companions are equally summoned... I've kept track of my own stats for 500 games against hunter and its Huffer 53.7% of the times.... why
***** Doubt all you like, I'm serious about my hs stats, as is Trump who does the same btw... I have a limited time I can play games so I keep track of stats because having the highest win rate posible gives me the best chance of reaching legend. Those are my stats, not blizz... I've already stated blizz stated a while back that it was equal (Huffer got 33.7 ish% back then)
***** I know there is... but for an avarage player 500 matches is about what you can expect and in my personal experience, thats the outcome. I never said these were the facts in general
In Trump's words, it's "just variance." You may have found that you're seeing a statistically larger amount of Huffers than normal, but that is likely just do to your particular sample. No matter how large the sample size is, in a completely random system, you get completely random results. You could see Huffer 53.7% of the time, and the guy that lives next door could see it 5.8% of the time, and these would both be correct statistics. Allow me to refer you to a quote by an unknown person: "Statistics can be made to prove anything. Even the truth."

May be too early to really make a judgment, but GvG seems to have decreased the amount of competitive decks rather than increased them, at least in standard ladder. My typical run-ins for an evening in ladder will normally look something like: Mech Mage Mech Mage Hunter Tinker's combo Rogue Mech Mage Hunter Random class Mech Mage Re-Netdecked Ramp Druid (so funny how I hadn't seen a Senjin or Shade on ladder for what seemed like months, then overnight they are in every druid deck...) Mech Mage Hunter etc.. Basically, I can only run things that counter mech mage/hunter to have any hope of having a decent win rate, unless of course I decided to run the same, which I just can't bring myself to do. GvG even weakened some existing decks just by including one ridiculous card in Dr. Boom. By weakened, I mean that everyone runs BGH and MCT now because of Boom, where they were pretty rare pre-GvG. So now you can no longer safely flood the board and punish earlier bad/desperate AoE play, and forget surprising them with something big with a class/deck that does not normally run large minions cuz it will just get sniped by the BGH everyone has to run to counter Dr. Boom, and they won't just drop BGH on the board early cuz they don't suspect you will have 7+ attack minions to nail with it since Boom is everywhere. Other than Undertaker nonsense from Hunters pre-GvG/Nerf, never have I run into so many games that were lost basically by turn two if you don't have the perfect answer (usually in the form of 3 dmg removal...can't even count on the dmg coming from a minion cuz of the freaking Annoy-o-tron or Frostbolt. I do think GvG did help a few classes gain some ground, such as Paladin and Rogue (playing against Rogue now is so much more of a chess-match than in the Miracle days), but I just feel far more constrained with what I play than I did before. Just some random thoughts on what I consider broken cards: Unstable Portal - More often than not, this card is just insane. So much better than the Shaman version. Showchugger - I know it's a class card, but 2/3 with a strong latent that can neuter a weapon user?! At least make it a 2/2, or better yet, a 1/3 so the mage might actually have to decide to use their hero power a bit more in the early game maybe giving one a chance to even the tempo. Eaglehorn - Secrets are bad enough to deal with, not sure they should be recharging your wep at the same time. I always run a slime now just because of this card, not to counter Rogue or Warrior weps. For an example, say the Hunter has 1 charge on the bow left, a played secret, no minions on the board, no/one card(s) in hand, you have 2 minions on the board who can't kill him in 1-2 rounds, and you have 11 health. Basically, if you have no way to break the weapon, a heal, or a taunt (or in the off-chance a Kezan), the Hunter has an invisible Mal'Ganis because attacking him will likely give him the win in two turns no matter what you do, so you have to not attack and just trade and hope for a draw that will save you, and all the while he just chips away with his hero power. For all intents and purposes, you survive the Hunter's onslaught, outplay him to gain the board, and still lose even with "ample" health. I know that strategy is a part of the game (like making the decision what minion to play or kill when a mage plays a late-game secret), but I think this ability makes a 3 drop far too strong. I know that Druid and other combo-ey things can burst you down horribly, but at least they have to spend a lot of mana to do so and don't prevent you from going for the win in sane manner. Goblin Blast Mage - Not sure who ever thought a 4 mana 5/4 deal 4 battlecry was a good idea. Knock it down to a 3/2 or 3/3 at least. The worst part is when he comes down, all you will likely have on the board (assuming the mage hasn't just cleared you with spells already) are low-health minions, sometimes letting him 3-1. if all that wasn't enough, he is still a major threat that has to be dealt with because of his 5 attack, and most early removal won't one-shot him without assistance (unless of course you are a mage). Dr. Boom - Enough has been written about him, but my main gripe with him is that because of his counters, it hurts some creativity/aggressive play. I guess that sorta turned into a Mage/Hunter bash, but that wasn't really my intent. I am just very disappointed that the new expansion seems to have reduced options, rather than expand them.
I have no problem with mech mage as mech priest. I have problems with Druid fatigue decks. Any suggestions? Im considering subbing in some mind blasts but dont know what Id take out.
27:20, not really it's just a great card, I run one in my Handlock list and don't run that Arcane / Power Overwhelming combo. Faceless is literally just there to get good stuff in the later turns. Like facelessing a Rag and then BGH's there's.
Damn, I really thought Trump was going to lose that last game. It took him so long to figure out that this was the combo deck and not Handlock (someone in chat probably tipped him off). He was on the verge of losing the entire game because he wasn't really guarding against the burst.
I've been following you for about a month and if you take the time to read this, do you have any suggestions with how to deal with some of the various 5 and 6th turn losses I have gotten against some these decks people are building. It really ruins the experience of the game I realize losing happens it's a part of the game but it gets old when it's time after time on turns 4-6. How would you even make Legendary at this point if everyone level 20 is playing pre legendary deck concepts. I am using Legendary decks as well and I still cannot break 19 I know there is some skills but I've scene some sick sick draws against me a lot. Thanks
I'm getting very frustrated with this game overall. I have been using a mech mage deck, runing Arch mage, Rag, Boom are the onyl legends I m running and a Piloted sky mech, 2 azure drakes, took out 2 fireballs and put in aculites of pain, the rest is mechs, one antique bot to stay ahead of hunters, and zoo 2 frost bolts in middle late game. but the best I;ve gotten is level 15.
Buyerbeware Greenvolthybridsolutions fireballs are excellent take out something for them and if your mech mage make sure all your mechs synergize well, you have the right ones and your deck is aggressive enough to always have early game aka take out rag put in mechwarpers and annoy o trons if you want to win
thekamotodragon Basically I've swapped out Boom I'm running a standard curve with FB and IB and it just feels like a crap shoot all the time. I reither run over my opponent or get screwed still cant break 15.
I have enough dust to craft a legendary and I have no idea who I should go for. I was thinking Sylvanas, consistently great, Dr.Boom, OP but I'm afraid he'll get nerfed, or perhaps Antonidas for a Mech Mage, but I'm doubtful whether mech mage is consistently viable in most metas. Please can I get some opinions on which legendary I should craft?
Play, say, 20 games overall. Which is a tiny amount in comparison to what he plays a day, but this is just an example. If there are seven Mech Mages you faced, four rogues, two pallies, a handlock, two zoolocks, three ramp druids, and a Shammy on off chance, you can obviously see that its pretty even but Mech Mage has the dominant amount of players in the meta at that moment in time. Its not hard to gather the data, simple counting.
I got suspended from school for throwing my milk at this kid because he made fun of my custom made trump t shirt you mess with trump you mess with me #swag
The video starts....i say: Wow finally a deck that is not 100% boring. 30 seconds later...the deck is yet again boring....They seriously need to limit legendary cards to maximum 2 per deck. 2 legendary mobs max and then they can make them all OP as fuck.
I'm going to have to watch him live cause this meta is changing way to fast one day im crushing mages and hunters next day I'm getting my ass handed to me by paladin and these new worlock
iDeathSparky If I was complaining about decks that beat me, I'd be bitching about handlock. Made a deck specifically to counter hunter so they're no problem. I'd just rather play games that involved some form of strategy, that's all.
***** "likes face hunter" Assuming I play hunter at all because I think it's just a deck like everything else and it has its counters? First off, complaining about a deck just means you're either too bad/lazy to come up with or even look up a way to counter it, or you're just looking for something to whine about. Second, I've tried Zoo, and both Control and Deathrattle hunter and all of which bored me to death. People who call face hunters lowlife or scum are just mad because they don't know how to counter, simple as that. Learn to play before raging off into public.
Really? Every question is retarded or he's answered it already via FAQs. The questions are literally "why not this card? Why not that card? How do I play? How do I blink? Who am I? What is life?" Be glad he even answers em lol
When every question is "Is this better than this" or "what is the best deck" or "how can I make the best deck for little/no money" And the answer to every question is subjective or already answered in a dozen or more of his other videos, he has every right to lose his patience a little bit.
Duncan Van Ooyen If he don't want to face that, he just have to turn off his stream. There's never a good reason to become pretentious when you choose to become a public player. Maybe it's a real "kid" asking these "stupid" questions and that kid would have every rights to not come back to Trump after that.
I feel like if you are incapable of answering a question with a bare minimum of politeness, you should just talk about something else or put it on his faq like other questions, i find it irritating listening to his Kurt answers.
I personally think they should nerf Frostbolt down to 2 damage. 3 damage and freezing their target. It's gives great value and is much better than the Warlock equivalent Darkbomb which is the same cost but only does the 3 damage.
xxVincentHuffxxx No there is no question Warlock has the stongest hero power, you are always at minimum 1 card ahead at the cost of 2 life which can be healed. If you don't run healing in a warlock deck, you're just a fool.
'Why didn't I play Harrison last turn?'
'Because I want to win the game.'
Promptly wins game because he saved Harrison.
"Why didn't I play Harrison last turn?"
"Because I want to Harrison Jaraxxus."

Songovstorms15 lmao!
Songovstorms15 Sneeds into Kel'Thuzad/another Sneeds. Dream scenario.
I've seen a clip on UA-cam where this happened in a tournament... 3 times in the same match @Songovstorms15
That last match was pretty awesome. It's games like that where I end up rooting for the opponent since they aren't running a typical deck.
19:58 this is the most sarcastic I have ever heard trump, and it's freaking hilarious!

Poor Jaraxxus, his Blood Fury keeps getting sent to the museum :
I clicked on subtitles by accident... 2:15 is kinda hillarious :D
Thanks for sharing that, I tried it out and it's hilarious :D
To be honest, I didn't even know that option existed :D
wow, the subtitles get confused a lot don't they

19:57 That made me giggle!

So, Burstlock is a combo-deck that is based on a 10 mana 4 cards combo to deal 24 dmg max.?
What is the whiteboard for? I've seen him write names on it or something but I'm not sure what information it's supposed to be conveying.
Does anybody know which tournament Trump was talking about in the begin and where I can find it?
6:00 "Is it worth silencing the leper gnome?"
7:00 Yes...yes it was.
12:50 wouldn't it have been better to coin KJ Muster? potential 3 damage to drake, possibly saving minions.
10:41, that is exactly why I roll with 2 Flamestrikes in my Mech Mage list. AOE is always needed no matter how much people think it isn't. :)
I've seen this before.

Can we please have some constructed decks that don't play Dr.Boom?
27:20, not really it's just a great card, I run one in my Handlock list and don't run that Arcane / Power Overwhelming combo. Faceless is literally just there to get good stuff in the later turns. Like facelessing a Rag and then BGH's there's.
the harrison thing was nuts. lol
Thanks
what deck are you using specifically?
I'm getting very frustrated with this game overall. I have been using a mech mage deck, runing Arch mage, Rag, Boom are the onyl legends I
m running and a Piloted sky mech, 2 azure drakes, took out 2 fireballs and put in aculites of pain, the rest is mechs, one antique bot to stay ahead of hunters, and zoo 2 frost bolts in middle late game. but the best I;ve gotten is level 15.
When are u doing a new this war of mine
I have enough dust to craft a legendary and I have no idea who I should go for. I was thinking Sylvanas, consistently great, Dr.Boom, OP but I'm afraid he'll get nerfed, or perhaps Antonidas for a Mech Mage, but I'm doubtful whether mech mage is consistently viable in most metas. Please can I get some opinions on which legendary I should craft?
Tyian is good is you play paladin
Sneed's can be OK if you're feeling lucky
One thing to consider is if you get Dr. Boom and he gets nerfed then you can disenchant Boom for a full refund.
I would go with Dr. Boom. If he does get nerfed, you will be able to disenchant it for a full refund if you do it shortly after the change.
Slyvannas or Dr. Boom because they're good in nearly all decks, whereas cards like anitonidas is only good in one
craft sylvanas, you can put her in any deck and she always 2 for 1's
where can i look up stats? /where does trump look those stats up?
He gets them himself by playing Ladder friend. He doesn't share them I don't believe, just adds them up on his trusty whiteboard.
r u serious?
well, would be unfortunate for us, i guess.
is there some programm for doing that, or does he doing that manually?
XyntXII That is some rather basic math, man...
Why no Bolvar though ? :(
coz he sucks tirion better and dr boom als even better
Never mind i just got bolver he gonna beat me up now
FaceHunter
"Is it worth Owling 2 damage? No"
How aboooooooout yes.
agreed. I mean you save it for Savannah ideally, but it's not really worthy if you die first xd
*****
Face Hunter doesn't play Highmane
Right, forgot it. So with more reason is worth it if you need
*****
True. Against cancer hunters I'd play owl or spellbreaker against Leper gnome every time, especially if I'm at less than 15 health.
The last warlock deck looks interesting, weird tho
I was so excited when the video started and I saw that decklist... then it went back to a boring gvg pally. So sad. :(
I don't actually think zombie chow is that useful
Anyone else watching trump's videos in 1.5 speed? xD
what is a zoo ?
watching games on 2x speed is amusing
How did you become so good at hearthstone?
Maybe he has been playing the game since beta dumbass
shuvo rahman The dude was just asking a question, he probably joined not so long ago. No need to be so rude...
do a warrior deck
Very nice~
Trump and his exact lethals :D
The time is always right to beat down some aggros.
I want see Trump demonlock deck
instead of DrBoom Ragnaros?
In that case better not run any BGH targets.
I got suspended from school for throwing my milk at this kid because he made fun of my custom made trump t shirt you mess with trump you mess with me #swag
Lol great story mate
shuvo rahman thanks
I approve of this behaviour. Next time you should freeze the milk first.
The video starts....i say: Wow finally a deck that is not 100% boring. 30 seconds later...the deck is yet again boring....They seriously need to limit legendary cards to maximum 2 per deck. 2 legendary mobs max and then they can make them all OP as fuck.
I'm going to have to watch him live cause this meta is changing way to fast one day im crushing mages and hunters next day I'm getting my ass handed to me by paladin and these new worlock
pls put back the defender of argus!
16:50 :(
Pretty sure the first handlock was sniping...
Which is why he played Jaraxxas into Harrison right? Very clever. Bravo.
I'm not sure what would make you think that, but I'm going to go with no.
Is bolvar already dead for trump ?
"Now I will crush you-hopefully-"-Trump 2015.
TROGGZOR! TROGGZOR!
I haven't beaten paladin once today.
very simliar to kolentos palladim :P
*very similar to every well optimized paladin deck.
welcome to hearthstone where all the good decks look the same.
Where's my free ticket to Trumpcon 2015?
You sure like to wash those glasses. Mine don't get dirty, what do you even do with them?
hunter master race
Sure
Yeah if by master you mean douchebag with no real skills.
I want to be friends with Kevin Dong.
I was so disappointed when you got rid of Pagle and Tinkmaster....
Lol Harrison jones jaraxxus xD
Tove Lrump
surly trump is surly
"Thanks for letting me know I have lethal when it's *his* turn."
Trump 2015
Gud
why trump never uses gold cards?
First ! :DDDD (don't hate me)
I get that he wants to be polite, but every time Trump well playeds a hunter who did nothing but face face face he's basically enabling them.
They already know they're low-life asses for playing that shit. It's alright, it's manners on his part.
No, it lowers them even more. If you meet rudeness and assholes with absolute gentlemanliness, they are even less for it.
Oh look, more people complaining about decks that beat them. Lmao.
iDeathSparky If I was complaining about decks that beat me, I'd be bitching about handlock.
What ya think? strawpoll.me/3545723
Easy control deck...
Likes and dislikes are 42 0 #trumpblazeit
101-0
play something else that deck is kinda boring.

Is it just me or is trumo getting more and more pretentious? He seems to loathe interacting with his fans.
Most of the questions or comments asked on stream are on his FAQ page, so he's probably just sick of answering them.
Really Trump? Paladin again?..
I think that paladin isunderestimated and he want to prove that that class is good too
Zachary Beaupré Oh i know it's good cause of trump i played like 5-6 pallys today, lost all of them.
Probably coz u suck you need terion muster for battle and quater master
i dont have a problem with i trump i like him but his voice is just so dull and lifeless to me.
Please stop saying "well played" to these mech cancer and huntards waste of space players.
I personally think they should nerf Frostbolt down to 2 damage. 3 damage and freezing their target. It's gives great value and is much better than the Warlock equivalent Darkbomb which is the same cost but only does the 3 damage.
Lord Slime that's relatively speaking, against something like a hunter you'll die to fast. Most of the time Hunters are apart of the meta.
xxVincentHuffxxx No there is no question Warlock has the stongest hero power, you are always at minimum 1 card ahead at the cost of 2 life which can be healed. If you don't run healing in a warlock deck, you're just a fool.
