Lifting Softop on MGA

I have owned my MGA for over 46 years and this is how I put up the soft top roof on my own. It takes just a few minutes but there are one or two key steps. There is a separate video on how to store the sidescreens in the widescreen pocket behind the seats.

I once did mine in my 1600 with a mate at the traffic lights when it started to rain. Mind you, I didn't have the side screen bag. We did it before the light turned green. Great video, but it seemed to take an eternity!

I hate it when I get caught in the rain by the time I get the top up I have a bathtub lol. I try to only take Rebecca my MGA out on sunny days.

It takes only seconds with my Miata, or any Alfa from the late '50's forward. But there's something absurdly cool about MGAs and their processes. ...Unless, of course, you get caught in a downpour.
Doesn't it rain a lot in England?
