The Vans Huntington Beach skate park is definitely one of my favorite parks. Before I moved to LA, I would always drive from Santa Cruz to Huntington Beach to skate the skate park with the homies. It's really cool to see all of the old Skater XL community maps being updated to be compatible with Skater XL 1.0. I'm super stoked for some new community maps to be made. I feel like this is a really bad video description. I don't think anyone really reads these anyway. Ok, bye.

@@josh0147 @Josh 01 it's more about being able to experience it in some type of medium. Love Park no longer physically exists so the way only to "experience" it now is either through video or virtual simulation. It was just that Love Park was an entire era of skating and visuals that were produced from it. And a "grom" is just a young person, a new kid in the scene. It makes sense that Love Park wouldn't really mean anything to you if you didn't come up in it. Just like, for young kids Brail is cool. But to me it's lame. But when I was coming up The Berrics was lame to older dudes, but I was into it.

Garret, I found a different way of doing hardflips/inward heels that are in between horizontal and vertical. I think they look the most realistic
To do them, right after you pop an ollie, push your left stick left and your right stick right, or do the opposite (left stick right, right stick left)
Tried it myself looks sooo much better

skater xl is such a great game but if you play on console it can get kinda boring cuz all you can do is free skate. cant wait for new updates!

MAJOR KEY ALERT. squashing roaches is more likely to give you a larger roach problem since this is also a way that roach eggs can be laid, if you squash em. Get the bug body out and clean and vacuum that spot with roach killer as well. 🤷♀️

The console version is such a wet blanket. The skate mechanics are good but the game just isn't finished. I regret spending €40 on it. It should have been half of that considering the state of the game. It needs a No Man's Sky sized overhaul.
Complete other game on consoles, looks like a new gen Skater xl and the console version is the old gen version, ridiculous. You guys hype this guy's so much now we play at consoles and what can I say. I I play it but the content is ridiculous, unbalanced sticks, frame shit, graphic shit aso.

I will say that the vertical hardflip looks more realistic but the basic hardflip looks better. Only my opinion.

I hate the controls in this game. That's what ruined the game for me and I've been skateboarding for years and still think the control setup is stupid.
I've only played this game for a little bit,. It's seems a bit to much of an accurate simulation, which kinda takes the fun out the game play. I will play it again at some point but I don't think it's going to top skate 3.
Vertical hardflips are waaaaayyyy better than more horizontal hardflips. But I will say that when using default settings I personally think that the vertical hardflips look more like a Kareem hardflip which is what I base an unmatched steezy azz hardflip after
