    If they made burrow work on vertical and upside down surfaces that would immediately give venture 10X more depth and playmaking opportunities, along with making drill dash bring you into burrow faster for quick getaways. Imagine a venture popping from the ceiling only to drill dash into the wall and dig away. kind of like jeff rivals i guess

    Venny is one of my three DPS picks in comp. I chose them _because_ they have a simple, cyclical rhythm to their kit. I never thought of Venture as being like OG Doom (but I also sucked at OG Doom) - instead, I replaced Mei/Reaper in my hero pool with Venture, and I'm much more consistent for it

    verticality in general feels lackluster on them, not that you can't coz burrow into dash gives you a lot of height but it just doesn't feel as engaging coz there's no like tech to burn just one cooldown like diags to get that verticality or like learning blink spots for example on travcer to take high grounds or even like rein pins like the Lijiang gardens one to cross the gap, like there really isn't much to explore like you said with them

    No no no, don't you see? This is OW2, heroes aren't allowed to have identities, skill expression, reward from mastery, or be funner and more effective than they could be

    She needs the skill sheild health so you have to hit to get bonus health. Also, burrow should like spike damage like hazards, wall just little pones.
    Dash cancel with momentum carried so you can fling. The burrow, when diving into the ground, should do a small circle spike damage but a little more than the previously stated while moving through dirt. The dirt should be a healthy tickle, and the dive should be like 50 dmg or something. Or make like doom and have dmg be related to height and time. To fling up and dive down, rock slamming a bit chase down with tickle, then pop up and attack drill fling out.
    The ULT NEEDS to work while underground. Making it Aoe circle attack so less precision but more Aoe for team fight. The circle should do less since it covers more area and has less aim. The regular out of ground gun slam should do more damage to reward precision.
    Drill cancel to fling
    Sheild health ability has to hit
    Burrow passive damage when moving under enemies tickle dmg.
    Burrow dive from air to ground makes rock splash damage, either fixed number or like doom slam distance indicated.
    ULT regular mode more damage more precision. Underground mode Aoe less damage less precision.
    I think this would be pretty good. Maybe I or someone could workshop into overwatch.
    Thoughts
    She not dps doom people say that to cope. But she could be more like doom
