OMG, I can’t with your confusion!
First it’s not a dress rehearsal (yet). Second, you saw 30 seconds and complain about being bright. You don’t know how dark the rest is. The staging being light it’s because Veronika goes from darkness into the light at the end. Being accused of being a witch (representing the dark start) and at the end not being convicted (representing the brightness at the end).
Video is way to long for you to be repeating the same thing over and over, but not actually doing a research and understanding things before hand.

It’s a personal preference to have it be darker. Many seem to be expressing similar concerns on the lighting. On top of that, the song is very dark and mysterious sonically and that doesn’t seem to be translated as optimally as possible on stage. And finally, Veronika was drowned to death from my understanding, so the light at the end isn’t truly reminiscent of how her story truly ended…🤷🏻‍♂️

They have many friends in Serbia and Croatia that's true. BUT, since they have given 0-4 points to Serbia the last few years I wouldn't be so hyped about the friendship, we are not jurors :)))) Anyhow I hope we all qualify for the final.
