Why did it take me 37 years to see this? WHY! A fantastic film. Minimalist sci-fi at its very best.

I'm replying in april 2024, literally just watched a NDGT podcast in which he mentions tthat he did a commentary track for The Quiet Earth. Tbh I'd never heard of this film before and I can't understand why. I'm desperate to see it. Trying to track down a version with with commentary extras is so far a struggle. My search will continue.

Rented this from the video store in 1986 it was good but the score was fantastic. Found a beautiful copy on vinyl last year shipped from Italy to here in NY. I didnt know New Zealand even had a film commission!! Bravo!
