Keaton is right that most people have checked out of politics. My family is apolitical mostly and they didn’t watch the debate but they sure have listened to that TikTok song remix of Trump saying “they’re eating the dogs, they’re eating the cats!”
That’s the extent of political knowledge they know.

That's the thing about Matt Walsh, he's kind of funny on silly subjects like DEI, the trans stuff... but when it comes to other things he's just not all that smart. Whenever he talks about abortion he sounds like the usual conservative nut that can't imagine a world where rape victims might not want to carry the rapist's baby to term. In conservative circles (and also in shitlib ones) people just tend to venerate this media personalities unconditionally just because they say a few things that make sense and forget about all the complete nonsense they utter. Jordan the frog is another example of this phenomenon.
If such victims were genuinely the concern then the debate would be about whether or not to carve out exceptions for those statistically exceptional cases instead of disingenuously pretending that we're not 99.99% talking about using it as birth control for the sake of convenience, career, etc. If you honestly believed in your cause then you wouldn't need to lie about it like that.

2016 should have had both Bernie and Trump run as two independents (or maybe Bernie run the Greens and Trump the Libertarians). That would have been a close 4 horse race and 2 more parties would have certainly made the 5% requirement for federal funding. The death of the Uniparty really would have started then.

Kamala's campaign needs to use an AI Kamala for interviews. It could be trained to speak coherently and not laugh maniacally at inappropriate moments, unlike the actual candidate.
The AI after getting all her speeches programmed into it would laugh at its creators and then shut itself down in revolt because if that is actual intelligence, it will view mankind as a doomed species

All this speculation about the election outcome and tea leaf reading about the "mood" of the country and what not should always include the massive caveat that no matter who wins, we'll really have no way of knowing whether they legitimately won.
That said, all of your thoughts are interally logically consistent, they just need that important caveat in my opinion.
