That was a very helpful video for a person just getting ready to get one of these installed and wonders how it works amd what it looks like. Thanks a ton.
I live in Colorado and the static filters i was given with my system is more like a grid throughout the filter. Since watching your video in replacing filter did turn off furnace and split the filter to actual touch the grid. But i did notice the static filter assembly was an inch an a half shorter so i vacuum out the inside. But, one i like your filters better what’s the brand you use. Also, I’m pretty sure i have to get a static assembly that fits.
My apologies for not seeing your question sooner! Typically you change a micropower guard media filter once per quarter. They are sold in 4 packs that should last a year. However, it all depends on your home. If you have lots of pets and people living in your house, you may want to change it more often. Also, you may not need to change it quarterly if you don't have pets, or smoke, etc. Quarterly is a general rule of thumb for how often the media filters need to be changed.
Thanks for watching everyone! I hope this helps you feel more confident while changing the filter to your MicroPower Guard!
Thanks for this! This helped me do it for the first time after getting a new HVAC system.
Glad it helped!

The furnace shown here has an oxyquantum LED and also an oxy rich... wouldn't the oxy Rich be redundant as the oxyquantum also has an ozone feature
How much is the cause for installing this product?
Static noises for days after installing
