  • The second WSOP Main Event vlog is here as we tackle Day 2! We bagged a 100bb stack after Day 1 and are feeling confident of making a deep run, but our table draw isn't the best and we're going to have to battle for our life.
    What follows is one of the most insane bluffs that I have ever tried to pull off. I can't wait to see what you all think!

    I enjoyed this video 🙂 the fact you made so many bluffs is impressive in itself, since it’s difficult to find them. Even if they don’t work, it’s still great that you tried them, since there will be a point when you play the same way with a genuine hand and win the max. Keep going Nick 👍👍👍

    I think the AJ bluff was really good. You basically never have the best hand on the river and in the Main Event people don't like to call an allin with an overpair on that river. I think it takes guts to do it, and great that you found it mate! I even think that this bluff is good at 1/2 against most opponents.

  • @Hildreth1101
    @Hildreth1101 Місяць тому +1

    I would never Jam the AJ there because it is more important to live in this tournament imo, X try to win at showdown. if you cover someone I like it a bit better, however in terms of creativity I really like it especially if they can fold the Overpairs, I am surprised she did call but if she had OP+Heart I don't think she is ever folding and your tournament life is over.
    Also table image appears to be important to these players, since you shown a table image I think you got to use it to maximise value in some spots, I wouldn't have even mentioned idea of bluffing with AQ hand, I'd just bet like 75% and said nothing, maybe even pot, AQ is very strong and they probably don't have worse ever so I think I go pot OTR with the AQhh hand, especially with your image you may get called by any PP. And always bet the A5ss hand etc etc. (I do think that hand probably helped you get a fold in the T8o hand later because it showed you can trap strong hands tho, the T8o hand I'd fold the flop).
    What it is worth I like the AK on QT4Q2, mono flop size OTR, and I get why you'd X the turn with your hand, I do agree you can probably half pot turn as a bluff though to try make stuff like Tx no draw, JJ no heart fold OTT, but OTR you'd almost certaintly be vs a range of PP+heart and Qx and trapped strong hands so not sure I'd even want to bluff OTR, so I think your line is a bit safer.
    Q8 hand is really tough, because his value range is probably never worse, maybe some Q6s, Q5s, 2 combos really, not sure if they'd go so big is my problem, these players will split range a lot OTR with their hand strength, I don't think I fold too without a strong read though - Just too good a spot for him to fire off his bluffs I could think of enough potential combos without the need for him to be creative, I do think it is a spot you could find a tight fold though, depends how you think he constructs range but for me I would default to call.
    Generally say you played pretty well, if you had busted the AJ hand I'd want a refund though! 😆
