This is going to be my final Steep Steps video for a while, since I kinda burnt the game in this channel (my last 3 videos have been about this game)

EDIT: For those of you who came for the *flame ladder*, is at 500 meters of altitude from Grassy Grounds. You gotta get down and go to a secret small path that will take you to a secret camping site, and there you'll find the "flame ladder".

Festive ladder is quite underrated,it is very useful on very dark caves and crevices since it's lights emit a glow that lights up the surrounding which like snowflake ladder,makes it easy to spot,it also has quite the cozy Christmas vibe,and look pretty cool at the dark,imo it's worth it,the light bulbs weren't actually removed,it was just a glitch that prob happened to you.

Shroom needed 900m
Snowflake needed 1000m
Golden needed 1000m ×10

The festive ladder has an ability where if it touches lava it explodes which can push the player
they patched it but it used to be really funny

For those who haven’t rebirthed you are thinking about the familiar brown ladder and saying ITS THE DEFAULT BRO IT IS NO POINT default actually gets golder every rebirth until 10 rebirths

About the snowflake ladder, if you collect all the fragments, but the room closes, do you keep the fragments, or do you have to get them again?

I say the familiar brown ladder is not worth it cuz its the same as default but for others it might be
I mean, tbh you get it for free when rebirthing, unlike most ladder where you have to go out of your way to do something, the familiar brown ladder is a gift you get for free.

If you want the flame ladder you can find it at Grassy Grounds, at 500 meters of altitude, you’ll have to get down the camping site and go through a secret small path that will take you to a secret camping site where the flame ladder is.

In the video, I counted you finding 6 shamrocks but the saint patricks event guy says we need 7 and when I talk to him, I can't say the yes option like it never appears.

Theres a new golden mushroom now, it's at 870m, near the house in the cave. You'll need it to get the shroom ladder!

when i did the second ladder it wont let me give the presents to the elves it only gives me the ''No :('' option
Be sure that you are handling the presents to the correct elf, some elfs look very similar.
The festival ladder has light Assad back!

What is the best ladder you would recommend to get because I’m at 600 and I need a recommendation
All ladders are the same (aside one effect or two)
For security you should get the Fossil ladder, since is extra heavy and you’ll be able to climb it without it falling.
It can be obtained doing the Ring quest located at 1000 meters of altitude in Wild West.
Wild West is the easiest mountain, so aside ONE SECTION you’ll have no issues.

For some reason, it doesnt give the option to say yes to the elves so i can't actually get the festive ladder... (and yes, before you ask i have the presents)
I had this same problem! I hope I’m not too late 6 months later but here are 5 elves and u get 4 presents so u could’ve got the elf that is at 600m, hope this helps :)

And nope. The obsidian ladder is still as heavy as a feather. If they haven't changed back the weights by now, I doubt they'll ever do.
if they didn't remove the weight to the obsidian ladder i would've loved it

The weight feature was removed in the ST. Patrick update, so now the obsidian ladder is just the normal ladder but purple.

At the Santa quest when I talked to the brown elf it didn’t work
That's because you have to only talk to the elfs who are the same color as the presents Santa gave you.
There are more presents than elfs, so there are at least a couple of elfs who you don't have to deliver a present.
If you wanna know which elfs you must talk to, pay attention to the color of the presents you have.

A glitch that conveniently allows people to do the entire mountain without doing any kind of effort.
That glitch has to be performed on purpose in order to happen, therefore, people who use it are cheating.

I don't know the exact altitude, but you can just follow the path I go and you'll find them.

Make sure you go at certain times, since you gotta go only when the snowflake room is also opened.
You forget the ladder in the other maps like the cactus ladder
Those are the weekly ladders that cannot be obtained anymore: like the cactus ladder, ink ladder, oreful ladder and 1 in a million ladder.
Any of them can’t be obtained anymore, so to avoid putting four times in a row “unobtainable” and only showing where they used to be, I decided to simply skip them.

Yep.
The only hard part is 900-1000, the first 900 meters can be easily done in an hour if you know what you’re doing.

The lucky ladder hasn’t been removed of it’s features despite not being Saint Patrick anymore.
The choice of removing light bulbs is specially dumb on Festive ladder, because now is “Surrounded by a cable, the ladder”. It was called festive ladder for a reason, that reason is removed now.
