IS SIMPLE STEPS GOOD OR BAD?

- Simple Steps is a Steep Steps spin off that has been quite controversial in the community of the climbing game.
Many claim is a step in right direction, others claim is cancer inducing, and this is my opinion.

Its also worth mentioning that Starting steps was heavily inspired by the Dark Souls games. Grassy grounds a little and Wild west not at all.
Simple steps sucks bruh. Spending all your life in a ROBLOX game that doesn’t even give you the correct ladder when u actually earn 20000 points. Such missed potential. I try to play it and I fall asleep.

This review of Simple Steps its amazing! Love it i agree, the onlly good thing at Simple Steps its the decoration, it is beautiful but the rest its just bad and i hope that Steep Steps Gets updated Soon And congratulations for reaching 1k subs!

i only remembered 500m of wild west why 500m was so fucking hard but also 900m to 1000m wild west had so much life
I kinda liked this game... It was a chill obby, I liked to search for new ladders every week, and do the new 100m. But they stopped updating weeks ago... and the pass... why would I stay that long in game with no content lol
Simple Steps had potential
But i believe that the devs don't understand why Steep Steps succeeded in the first place, hence why new content keeps getting worse
Not to mention the 1 week deadline, that's just awful. The first 400m of Simple Steps is pretty great with hidden ladder spot and quests, however it gets worse later on
The "Seasonal Pass" is obviously a blatant way to earn money, i get that they need fund to make updates, but making an entire pass dedicated to afking while the other quests suck, its just not it
Me and many other people had been criticized the game (Steep Steps) for months, pointing out the flaws as well as suggesting new things. However it seems like it never worked out, and tbh, i've already given up on the game for months now
When you get 20k points you gets the eye ladder not the spider, in 40k you dont gets nothing

as Arebith suggested in the discord server, simple steps should finish at 1k meters and say "good job you finished the tutorial, now try the real deal" and a portal to step steps.
they should also remove the battlepass, because oh my god whoever cooked it burned the entire continent. literally removed gameplay purpose.
just these 2 adjustments would improve the game from 5/10 to a 7.5/10 at least.

I know that this is not entirely relevant to the video, but I think that in steep steps the creator of the mountains is very underestimated, I mean that the players make the mountains even better than in the simple steps but the players simply do not see them and I think that the developers should like -something to diversify the creator of mountains, for example, with rewards in the form of stairs for completing several mountains of players

Yeah, I agree the idea of simple steps wasnt bad itself, but the execution of the idea ended up not very good.
Simple steps is basically made for players that has a skill issue that cant do 0 - 100 starting steps, also random fun fact about simple steps: theres an dev product on simple steps that gives you a random ladder from steep steps, but did you know you can get ladders that doesnt exist in steep steep steps? Here are the ladders: Big time ladder, Bacon ladder, ocean ladder, and aqua ladder (aqua ladder is just an bait reward in steep steps that doesnt exist)

about the seasonal thing
i am unsure if I got incredibly lucky somehow but when I got to 20k points it gave me the eye ladder along with the 20 points ladder, so I didn’t see there to be a need to grind the rest if it gave me the eye ladder, I don’t know if I’m lucky or this was a broken server, I didn’t look into all of it that well.
the gameplay is indeed boring as well.
alongside one of the sections are super buggy (the cave), when you place a ladder against a wall when you’re up close to it, you randomly get sent back and you are forced to reset all because of some pretty broken gameplay, yikes.
moving on, quite a good amount of reasonable comments for this game, now, i WOULD of given this a 6/10, but adding on to this, I’m not a big fan of gambling, and I don’t like broken gameplay or the same, repeated mechanics and maneuvers, alongside at one point this game had an ai generated thumbnail before however they reverted that idea (hopefully it stays that way), so unfortunately it’s also a 5/10 for me, hence; this game is pretty mediocre, I’d rather steep steps over a simple bland manual drawbridge walking game.
You definetly got incredible lucky, because there's people who at 20k points don't even get the spider ladder. It's probably a bug, but it hasn't been fixed as far as I know.
The spider ladder glitch is not fixed as of right now
I don't like it because it's too easy, i know it's the pint of the game but the gameplay style: calm and easy isn't for me.
I like myself a good and punishing challenge, but i do have to say the map is beautiful

Yea man, steep steps is getting more and more bad, that is sad, in my opinion the best mountain on steep steps, was the first one, the Starting Steeps, even if i dont even finished the 900m section, and i already died 9 times on 990 meters (help me).
Let's hope mt4 truly delivers!

Simple steps is a bit boring without any challenge, the environment is pretty cool though, the ladders too
