The reality is that many people struggle with that concern and they feel super conservative on sharing it.

My dream clients are minority young adults, typically from disadvantaged communities. A lot of people my age from my home town are "Stuck." I want to help people like these achieve their dreams!

One year has passed since I left sales and I'm now all about any kind of coaching that helps my Charlotte community. I have recently been laid off and hope to launch my business coaching business in April. Currently I see my ideal clients as small business owners that are so busy dealing with the day to day issues they don't have time to focus on how to grow and improve their business. I would like to help them put together a one page strategic plan to help them re-focus and move forward. After that I will see how we can continue to grow together.

It has taken me ages to get here in terms of identifying the what, the who and the why of my coaching offer, but now I have clarity.
The what is leadership and team building for peak performance using Neuroscience and EI. The who is Project and Change Managers. The why is because too many projects fail due to lack of knowledge about their own selves when leading projects and business change initiatives. My coaching practice aims to change that for them.

*NICHE DOWN* this is so key. Learn what the market wants then give them EXACTLY what they want and learn to speak their language
My dream clients are people People who have suffered their own curses while dabbling in magic and wish to be free. I deal specifically in paranormal happenings, esoteric hygiene and energy healing. I am also a psychic and dream interpreter. I am here to bring people into their own light.

Niching down is essential. I wanted to work with entrepreneurs with a solid track record that are either transitioning industries or starting new projects. Within a month of changing my narrative, title to business performance coach and niche conversation, I landed 3 new clients. They are not only in my realm of expertise, but I feel more fulfilled having conversations and being present with them.

Alright, my friend, if you're looking to find your coaching niche, here's a quick and easy guide for you, Akbar Sheikh style:
Know Yourself: Figure out what you're passionate about and what you're really good at.
Find the Demand: Look for areas where people need help and where you can offer something special.
Know Your Audience: Understand who your ideal clients are, what they need, and how you can help them.
Use Your Skills: Use your unique skills and experiences to offer valuable coaching services.
Stay True to You: Make sure your niche aligns with your values and what you want to achieve.
Test the Waters: Try out your niche with a few clients to see how it goes.
Adjust as Needed: Be willing to tweak your niche based on feedback and results.
Remember, finding your coaching niche is all about finding the sweet spot where your passion meets the needs of your clients. So, go out there, be yourself, and make a difference!

Hi Courtney! Your content is great... I always thought that, to work as a coach we need qualifications. Not only I am a psychologist but also have a few coaching qualifications and still struggling to attract clients. I realize now that it's more about marketing and packaging it all together than knowledge alone....
I guide men looking to gain new levels of inner peace and meaning in life by becoming aware and unlocking the protective mechanisms they have created to allow them to feel safe and secure while moving through life.
I want to help people who perceive themselves as unworthy of happiness because their body didn't fit the societal norms. I'm speaking directly to people who have visible differences/uniqueness/disability.
My clients have predominantly been male C level executives BUT I'd love to work with brown executives as a preference, both men and women.
Some days I feel odd and even believe my people are continuously left behind when the people who take advantage of my skills and experience don't normally look like me. But they use me to continue their growth for their companies.

After 24 years of work as a therapist as one of the founders of a boarding school for chemically dependent young men I retired. I'm interested in being a sober coach. At age 62 it's different!
I (male) began an MFT program but never completed it because my son was born with cognitive disabilities and it took over my life. Now as he’s 18 I feel I have so much knowledge to pass to other in this parenting lifestyle on how to help ourselves… especially men! Handling our feelings, supporting ourselves and others etc. But… the usual excuse… I have no idea where to start. 🤔
I am a Type 1 Diabetic with 3 young children and I coach other moms and dads that have diabetic children or adult children that have anxiety or depression about taking care of themselves.

It truly is it’s own pandemic. Coaching for that population is definitely needed. I think it’s partly why Jordan Peterson has skyrocketed in popularity - he helps to give direction to young men and women both.
