    Excellent comparison of premium scooters in Apollo’s lineup. Top speed for me isn’t as important as a good get up and go response. Couple that with the hydraulic suspension, I’ll definitely be in the market next spring when the 2.0 comes out. I absolutely love my City 2024 so the new Phantom Stellar 2.0 will fit so nicely in my garage.
    Glad to see Josh wearing full gear going the speeds he does. Scary fast.

    So, it's pretty clear that future Pro upgrades Include a batt and controller package, for max performance, and also, if either one alone improves performance, then Batt upgrade and/or controller upgrade might be individual upgrades.
    ( I mean, you can't tell us Pro owners it doesn't work, because you just showed us it does. Well, actually you told us about this, as yet, unannounced upgrade path in today's earlier Mission Apollo Live).
    Yeah yeah, I know, you haven't said anything about Future Pro upgrades, but it's nice to know you're working on them.👍🏼☮🇨🇦

    @ApolloScooters I have been following the development for quite a while and have always been on the line because while you guys were pushing innovation, seeing the release of the Apollo Pro, I was so happy yet knew it was so close to really match industry technical standards. Now seeing the Mach 3, black, 60V, I am ready to order the next Apollo Pro if you guys make a jump to the Apollo Pro like you are with the Phantom. I am so ready to order because that would make it a real flagship model for me and so willing to drop $4000 USD.
    I'm pretty sure the customer base that want the Apollo Phantom 2.0 is still different than than the customers who look forward to the Apollo Pro 2.0. Big fan and I have my fingers crossed you guys some day announce an Apollo Pro 2.0. I've looked at all the competitors and my friend loves his Apollo Go that I recommended because I've been waiting on the true flagship to arrive some day. Thank you for continuing to push the boundaries!

    I think it would have been helpful to have the same guy ride all three scooters so you could accurately allow for weight differences (which drastically affect acceleration times). The lightest guy (145lb) was on the most powerful scooter (Pro 60V w/ Mach3). So it was not a fair comparison, really.

    Currently running a Phantom V4 and enjoying it but it's honestly a bit slow for what I require in the area I live in. I was about to pull the trigger on the Pro, or change brands, then I seen the Phantom 2.0 60v is coming. Are you going to offer an upgrade path for the first gen Pro users? I feel like they're being left in the dust a bit. Do you have plans for a Pro V2 that is 72v+ for 2025?

  • @ModularIsl

    my pro gave out twice right out of the box i sold that sucker for a car. i really want the 60v to be the return i need but afraid ive moved onto the citycoco fat tire mod community. looking for a 72v battery on my dual motor build, the pro just couldnt handle nyc streets despite how amazing it looked. my gf liked the lights so im incorporating the best parts of the pro into the build, its looking sick and how hard can light diffusion be after all?
    Edit: are they even doing a 60v pro anytime soon?

    It doesn't make sense to have the phantom 2.0 less than the pro. They should support the pro but discontinue it. The base phantom 2.0 model is even better.

    • @BorealisNights
      @BorealisNights 5 днів тому

      I don't think they'll abandon the Pro that fast. It is, after all, Apollo's first "2.0" model, as in, fully invested in the new design language, test bed for The Go, now the PH2.0, and this vid shows that with the same components(upgrade needed, of course), that it can perform equally to the PH2.0 Stellar.
      It was a test bed that a decent number of us supported on Indie, and it may 'seem' overpriced, but remember, the Pro was, as I said, a test bed for new ides and a new design language template for Apollo, and we early adopters new full well that a decent portion of our price was to pay for research and development for a product that otherwise, would not likely have made it to a commercialized level or production.
      As to why it DOES make sense that the PH2.0 will be less than the Pro, that's because of the lessons learned, which were supported by Indie Pro buyers, are trickling down, and not only production tweeks but also economies of scale make the lower price viable, and sensible.
      If anything, the Pro will be a classic just because it was the first of the new gen of scoots.
      (and, as in a post I made here a little earlier, they just demonstrated that a pro can handle all the upgraded components of the PH2.0 Stellar, keeping both "Old Pro" owners happy with updated performance, and new PH2.0 Owners happy with the cost savings.)
      It's a WIN/WIN for Apollo to keep both in the line... I imagine the next gen Pro to repeat its original task, to act a test bed of possibilities, and meeting the wants/needs of those who want to see the future, sooner, rather than later.
      (Plus, if you think the PH2.0 is the scoot for you, I fail to understand why you would want to see, or even care, if they market the Pro alongside all the other models? Eventually, they will decide how long this Pro lasts, and or if they will revive the model name again when its time to 'step it up', or if it becomes a name they drop forever. But, as I said, I fail to see why you'd wish away a scooter that a good number of people dropped a fair dime on, and like?)

    • @SeagullAustralis
      @SeagullAustralis 4 дні тому +1

      They are different scooters for different use cases and different experiences. The Pro has it's place, but I think it will eventually need to be changed to make more sense. When riding the Pro, I notice that I can feel more of the bumps from the road from the back end of the deck in comparison to the front. It would be a lot nicer to have the dual adjustable hydraulic suspension available on the Pro, instead of the rubber suspension on the back. The rubber suspension is effective to an extent, but I feel still could be better.
      It would also be really nice to have steering dampeners and NFC connectivity as options for the Pro.
