just a heads up, Pulling the rubber from bottom to up is actually more risky in terms of having a splinter in the racket from my experience and from researching on it a bit. Instead try to slowly pull the rubber off diagonally or from side to side. great informative video otherwise.
There is no correct answer. It all depends on the player and his preferences. I would not boost a rubber whose sponge is not above 50 degrees of hardness. But that's just what I think and what suits me. The Stiga DNA M comes in several versions and different sponge hardnesses, but if I decided to boost, it would be one layer of Falco Tempo Long and 2 layers of glue on the rubber.
Hi, when you say that cheap water based glue can be used to help with removing old glue from the sponge, are you referring to just any glue, including non table tennis related ones that you could buy in just any store, or is it just cheaper table tennis glue that you have in mind?
Thank you for your comprehensive walk-through and explainations
