I recorded this video in San Francisco in a friend’s studio. The piece changes modes within the Iranian Dastgah system. The way I change these modes are not normal and that made me think about how different nationalities live together in this city. After recording my friend asked what is the name, and I told him that I was thinking of this city when I was playing it. So we both laughed and decided to name it San Francisco.
