I think it’s rude to foist alcohol on guests especially shots. I like a drink (hey, I’m Australian 🇦🇺) but to push like they did, they didn’t know Jamie’s circumstances. With me I’d flatly refuse except for the toast but after that I’m sure the host/hostess really doesn’t want a drunk guest nor a very sick one.

I am so surprised at the behavior of some of these people. I thought Canadians were lovely and sweet until I started watching these episodes. I’m from England and love the original version but I find the Canadian ones way more bitchy and mean. An exciting week of free food meeting new people etc a lot of them tend to just say mean things and get nasty!
