Mine is a 99 version. 1300cc manual. It's also right hand drive as I live in New Zealand. Wellington to be exact. Purchased it in April of 2018 for 1300.00 NZD. That's roughly 800.00 USD. Had 152,000+ kms. It has 178,000+ today. The guy we bought it from won it in a raffle. lol When we got it the clearcoat was peeling all over, so I took some rubbing compound to bring the color back and hit it with Turtle wax every couple months. Sprayed the rims flat black and got some plactic hubcaps from Super Cheap. Shines like new money. So far, I've done the brakes, timing belt w/pulleys, belts, plugs, rotor, cap and wires. New radiator, hoses and coolant. Tires 1 time. It's like a sewing machine. As there are so many of these around parts are easy to get and it's an easy diy maintenance vehicle. The shifting it tight. The doors snap when you close them. Window cranks. Cassette player. Gotta rebuild my 80s collection. Love everything about this car. It'll be my last car ever. Thought about updating to a Yaris or Echo, but when I drove them they were basically the same car with a different body design. Everytime I take it for a WOF the mechanics draw straws because the car's so easy to work on. They call it The Little Warrior. If you're fortunate enough to have one your great grandchildren will learn to drive with it. Kia ora from New Zealand, everybody! 🇳🇿 🚘 Btw, mine's a 2 dr hb. These are going for 3-4000 NZD. Saw a 97 Glanza Turbo for 16,000.00 NZD on Trademe. It was flawless, but DAY-um. lol
Finally we can hear the gear shift sound
