Rocket league should release a “World Cup” expansion where they release a massive arena almost 3 times the size of the one we have now and make it like 8v8 with dynamic crowd reactions and the whole 9 yards.

Also in RL, if you put in the Konami Code during the boot-up splash screens (before the title screen appears), it changes the title screen logo to the SARPBC logo.

Full ranked playlists, TEAM RANKED, janky unofficial tournaments on sites you've never even heard of, but the youtube scene was amazing too. Jhzer was still posting compilations, coolcole, fysho, stevebills, sadjunior, kuxir, pluto, lachinio, etc., names we know today but in a completely different context. It wasn't about being the greatest player with the highest ranks. It was about how far you could stretch the physics of this game until it couldn't even keep up anymore. Ping pong galore with freestyling as the number one reason anybody wanted to get good. Oh, and people weren't so unbelievably ignorant that they realized the clear advantage of a game with multiple types of maps. Just 7 different arenas, some were clearly more popular but everyone, and I mean everyone, played on every single map.
True, it was harder to get a server on that map, even though my favorite map had to have been the Pirate ship map. I wonder if it had to do with those crazy curves and that darn Mast in the middle xD Those were great times, SARPBC and WarHawk were my thing back in those days ;D
I only got ps4/RL in January of this year. Played sarpbc for a good 18 months or so before hand though. I feel like it was kind of my spiritual training for RL. The ball cam part you mentioned was the part that threw me the most. I didn't like the RL ballcam when the ball was high & directly above you. Got there in the end though. Pretty sure i've played with that silvestre dude too haha. Would always see the same ps3 peasants (like me) on sarpbc haha. Funny story though I was recently reuinted with an old sarpc buddy about a week ago in solo standard on RL. It was a very cool moment in my gaming experience. We started playing together and we instantly had the same old chemistry & teamwork. It was quite awesome.
I was pretty taken back when it happened for sure, like the chances of coming across a random specific person out of all the people who play RL is pretty crazy small. I am glad cool gamers recognise these beautiful moments

I used to play this with my cousins when it came out. I believe there was a game mode or just a map that allowed us to play on a boat. The boat would rock back and forth making it difficult to score because we ended up getting motion sick, but it was very fun at the same time and I wish they’d bring it into rocket league.

GUYS THERES ANOTHER ROCKET LEAGUE THAT CAME OUT BEFORE!! THE GAMES CALLED - Monster 4x4 (for the wii or wii u) It came out in 2006 - It was a moster truck racing game but you could play Mosnter Truck Soccer and its just like Rocket League.
Thank you! I started on PS3 and the single player mini games were actually fun! Also some of the maps are really creative and fun. Everyone should check it out. Also PlayStation controllers are the best, sry not sry. The lobbies were the only thing that was a little aggravating at the time. Much better way to join a game in rocket league. I believe this was also one of the only games that allowed you to play your own music in the back ground. Also the PS3 when it was in its prime was incredible. I mean you could Skype call a friend and video chat! they had really neat apps that you cant check out anymore. example Folding @ home was ingenious. and Playstation Home was fun as a kid if you were stuck inside you could explore a virtual world. Gran turismo 6 & minecraft were the only other 2 ps3 titles that I knew of that would let you play custom music. But it was a cool quirk of sarpbc too for sure.
It's not illogical, it's an opinion; and one I share. The Playstation controller, from the first draft to the Dualshock 4, sucks. I cannot for the life of me get around the fact that the left joystick is on the bottom. It's an extremely unnatural place for the thumb to rest when the bulk of your hand is wrapped around the handle adjacent to it. While remedied slightly with the latest rendition, the handles are also awful. Far too small for a comfortable grip over an extended period of time. Up until last year, the Xbox 360 controller was my go-to for PC gaming since it doesn't have the issues I mentioned here; the left joystick is in a comfortable spot and the size and shape of the handle ensures my thumb is resting nicely on top of it without causing strain. Then I got the Switch Pro controller, which is just a superior version of the 360 design; perfect for me. Back to my main point, I guess. Opinions are cool and shake things up.
Watch MrCuba I used to think the PS controllers were the best. But I tried Xbox for a few months and went back to ps3 and the size and positioning gave me cramps. I think the PS4 is fine though. 3 was too small
@@FallenDemon94 You must have tiny hands. Xbox One controller is perfectly alligned to fit the average sized male hand. Playstation controller on the other hand (no pun intended) is not. You have to stretch your left thumb downwards to reach the analog stick, and the alignment of the handles are very slanted, all resulting in hand cramps after a long period of play.
He didn’t mention the fact that the teams were Blue and RED, instead of being Blue and ORANGE. That’s a small thing but still worth pointing out in my opinion.
Hey man I was a big SARPBC player back when it came out on Steam for free. I remember being so addicted to it and was always playing it with a friend of mine and I don't remember what happened but forgot all about it until Rocket League came out and I felt it looked so familiar to me and totally thought it was the same game for the longest time but found out it wasn't 3 years ago after picking up Rocket League on Steam. I am now 2,000 hours into RL and love playing a few games a day to keep me good. I feel like if I miss out a week or two I would have to play for a while again to keep being good but I do think the more you play the better you get no matter what so yeah there are people who have 4,000 hours into it that I know will be better than me but I do give them a challenge.
None of my friends played it but I sank so many nights into it. Loved it from the get go. I remember the official forum where people would post videos and find friends and have little tournaments.

I’m not sure the name but it’s some sort of connector, it’s silverish with two blue multi colored ends and when you put it in you must put down a plastic flap to snap it in. Located directly in front on the hard drive on the left of the power button. 🤗 You don’t spend a childhood with something and not learn a bit about it, I just wish I had it back.

Thank you! I started on PS3 and the single player mini games were actually fun! Also some of the maps are really creative and fun. Everyone should check it out. Also PlayStation controllers are the best, sry not sry. The lobbies were the only thing that was a little aggravating at the time. Much better way to join a game in rocket league. I believe this was also one of the only games that allowed you to play your own music in the back ground. Also the PS3 when it was in its prime was incredible. I mean you could Skype call a friend and video chat! they had really neat apps that you cant check out anymore. example Folding @ home was ingenious. and Playstation Home was fun as a kid if you were stuck inside you could explore a virtual world. Gran turismo 6 & minecraft were the only other 2 ps3 titles that I knew of that would let you play custom music. But it was a cool quirk of sarpbc too for sure.
I played this game so much on my ps3. Now my ps3 isnt broken but pretty much retired. The memories are still there

It's not illogical, it's an opinion; and one I share. The Playstation controller, from the first draft to the Dualshock 4, sucks. I cannot for the life of me get around the fact that the left joystick is on the bottom. It's an extremely unnatural place for the thumb to rest when the bulk of your hand is wrapped around the handle adjacent to it. While remedied slightly with the latest rendition, the handles are also awful. Far too small for a comfortable grip over an extended period of time.
Up until last year, the Xbox 360 controller was my go-to for PC gaming since it doesn't have the issues I mentioned here; the left joystick is in a comfortable spot and the size and shape of the handle ensures my thumb is resting nicely on top of it without causing strain. Then I got the Switch Pro controller, which is just a superior version of the 360 design; perfect for me.
Back to my main point, I guess. Opinions are cool and shake things up.
Watch MrCuba I used to think the PS controllers were the best. But I tried Xbox for a few months and went back to ps3 and the size and positioning gave me cramps.
I think the PS4 is fine though. 3 was too small

@@FallenDemon94 You must have tiny hands. Xbox One controller is perfectly alligned to fit the average sized male hand. Playstation controller on the other hand (no pun intended) is not. You have to stretch your left thumb downwards to reach the analog stick, and the alignment of the handles are very slanted, all resulting in hand cramps after a long period of play.
The only good PS controller was 2. Best controller out there is 360. Don't @ me.

Hey man I was a big SARPBC player back when it came out on Steam for free. I remember being so addicted to it and was always playing it with a friend of mine and I don't remember what happened but forgot all about it until Rocket League came out and I felt it looked so familiar to me and totally thought it was the same game for the longest time but found out it wasn't 3 years ago after picking up Rocket League on Steam. I am now 2,000 hours into RL and love playing a few games a day to keep me good. I feel like if I miss out a week or two I would have to play for a while again to keep being good but I do think the more you play the better you get no matter what so yeah there are people who have 4,000 hours into it that I know will be better than me but I do give them a challenge.

None of my friends played it but I sank so many nights into it. Loved it from the get go. I remember the official forum where people would post videos and find friends and have little tournaments.

I’m not sure the name but it’s some sort of connector, it’s silverish with two blue multi colored ends and when you put it in you must put down a plastic flap to snap it in. Located directly in front on the hard drive on the left of the power button. 🤗 You don’t spend a childhood with something and not learn a bit about it, I just wish I had it back.

@3:37 I've been saying this for years. PS is great but PS controllers have been designed for the tiny Japanese hands. And the light and sound on the PS4 controller despite adjusting the settings just drains the already weak af battery. SONY PS NEED A CONTROLLER REFORM IMMEDIATELY!!!! P.S. That Giant button on the front is also unnecessary.
