He is playing behind a tourist information booth which did also have a bike-rental function. My Scott Dunbar videos have been very popular in Russia, the Ukraine, and other parts of Eastern Europe for about four years now.

There is a Scott Dunbar One Man Band account on Facebook, but there have been no posts since 2018. I'm not sure what is happening with Scott these days.

@@ghostlandobservator I was able to contact Scott via his 'Scott Dunbar One Man Band' Facebook page that does not have a new post since 2018. Scott told me that he has had a difficult time in the last several years, including health problems. I encouraged Scott to answer people who are asking about him in comments on my three videos of him directly, but he may not feel up to it. It does seem that Scott has not performed since 2018.
@@RobinEdgar oh my god thank you so much for contacting him. I appreciate it very much. I am very sorry that the last years have been difficult for him. But I really hope that everything will work out for him, and who knows, maybe he will return with new masterpieces. He writes really unique songs and he has a very beautiful voice. I hope he knows that so many people appreciate his work, admire his performance, and support him. He really is a great man!

@Octaharo Yes the video was shot with a Nikon D90 DSLR in the D-Movie 720p HD video. I now own a Pentax Kx and tend to use the lower resoltion video mode that allows for up to 25 minutes worth of shooting.

In a perfect world... a kind passerby (RobinEdgar) posted this video and a couple of others in May 2009, and then later added some of Scott's info in his uploader comments. He has also more recently tracked Scott down and again (9 months ago) kindly posted a few more. Scott has posted a few videos himself and then has had control of uploader comments. Thanks for posting your comments -- it really brings to light how difficult it is to be noticed in the world of music these days.

I play on the streets, but am not looking for money, as I am an anti-consumerist. most of my street performer friends share this view, though we are on the whole not as talented as you appear. it was wrong of me to suggest you feel the same as us, so I apologize. however, in turn, try not to piss on the lives of those who love the streets and don't want money. we're not crazy, just different.
@largui the streets add an element of charm and originality to performers like our friend here - sadly, it's hard to reproduce the effect in a studio environment, and it's even harder to market it. stop in the subways of new york and you'll find plenty of amazing blues and jazz musicians who could equal BB king any day. sometimes, as well, these people don't WANT to "make it big"... they just want to make music.
