      Nice. The new device will be able to make the same sounds in this video. Analog synth sounds from nl Mono, and the digital fm poly sounds from nl 2. I'm looking forward to using it also.

    1:00 - what an amazing sounding snare!
    is that coming from the nanoloop mono?

    • @classic_mistake
      @classic_mistake  Рік тому +1

      Thanks :) Yep, nl mono for the snare. I used the noise channel (n) for most of the sound, but then i used the click channel (c) to add a little pop to the snare by creating a short low volume high pitched kick. Experiment with this and you'll be able to create lots of different sounding snares.

    Very dope jam! How did you sync the two Nanoloops? That's something I am still struggling with.

    • @classic_mistake
      @classic_mistake  5 років тому +1

      What specifically are you struggling with?
      To sync the two nanoloops you must go to the tempo icon (>>) on the bottom right of the composition page. Press A + B on both devices, then press START on the game boy you'd like to run as master.

      Classic Mistake worked like a charm! I wasn’t aware that it’d work with a regular link cable. So I had bought an adapter off the nanoloop store and fiddled around with it without success (also trying to sync it to a computer).
      Anyways, thx for getting back to me :)

    • @classic_mistake
      @classic_mistake  5 років тому

      @@vvlvmusic Nice, I'm glad it worked for you. I've tried those sync adapters too but I struggled to get it to sync. Link cables have always worked without much drama for me so i continue to use them. I'm sure there is a way to make the sync adapters work though.

    where did you get that Nanoloop gba cart on the bottom right?

    • @classic_mistake
      @classic_mistake  4 роки тому

      I bought it from the nanoloop website a few years ago. Currently they're selling a different design that uses a single PCB. Sometimes older nanoloop cartridges appear on ebay, so have a look there if feel like you need it.

    This is amazing. Is Re20 looping into the bus of the mixer?

    • @jordaneden9842
      @jordaneden9842 2 роки тому +1

      Thanks :) Yep, The RE-20 is receiving a signal from the mixers fx out and sending it back into the fx in. This lets me use the echo effect on both game boys independently by turning the fx knob on the mixer.

    • @classic_mistake

      I got mine through joe bleeps but i'm not sure he does it as a service anymore. check out deadpanrobot and asmretro, or the chipmusic.org forum for info on how to do it yourself. Sometimes i wonder if it's really made much of a difference to the sound. i don't think the gba prosound is as important as a dmg prosound

      @@classic_mistake Marvellous, I just figured it would be a decent spot considering it had the most room around it, and I wouldn't be putting my PCB at risk.

    Hello @Classic Mistake! Me and a group of friends are Audiovisual students here in Brazil we are producing a horror short film for our course completion work and we like this song that you are playing in this video. We would like to know if there is any way we can talk to be able to use it, legally of course, in our film.
