@thelifeofoliviaellis have an awesome day yourself Olivia. I read Lamentations. I guess it doesn’t matter what people do to you or me in this life. All that matters is the next one. And who knows who’ll be there or not. And who’ll be in charge of whom. It’s such an interesting thing to tho k about. Can you tell my mind went all over the place after reading that passage?
@ thank you!! it is also interesting that even one passage of scripture someone can get something totally different out of, and someone else can get something out of it. i love verses 21-24, it mentions that even through hard times, even when it seems dark, you can remember all God’s done and have hope in Him. that if you just take a second in the midst of your storm and realize.. God’s always been there. in the kjv version, verse 21 says “this i recall to my mind, therefore have i hope.” my great grandma’s favorite verse was always verse 23 where it says, “they are new every morning, great is thy faithfulness” just like the hymn! i totally understand being all over the place, you can glean so much from God’s Word!
