The band he's the lead singer for, Beast in Black, have actually opened for Nightwish before, so a lot of people are pretty sure that this is in fact the official audio that he's using, with their permission
2:07 "I think I'm funny" answer: By moving air through his vocal chords Actual answer: Yannis has a four octave range (Octave 2 to Octave 6) and can hit whistle tones if he pushes
It might be better for Sharm to check the "Blind and Frozen" , since it's the most recognised song of his band (Beast in Black) , than a Dio cover . Just saying .
Well if you liked Yannis you should listen to the song "Blind and Frozen" by the band "Beast in Black" in which he's the lead singer. EDIT: Oh and you might also want to look up Nightwish - Phantom of the Opera, the live version with Tarja (their first singer) which imo is the best rendition of that song ever made.
I like your kind of reactions. No slowing down the video not interrupting the vibes for some deep analysis. Keep up the good work and if by any chance you react to games record some reaction to osu top players respectively very good plays are made by mrekk (raw aim and speed, Vaxei(Versatility), Merami(renamed to Aetrna - he is the fastest tapper). Crazy stuff.
if you havent heard Yannis with BEAST IN BLACK performing WILD AND FROZEN i suggest you give it a serious listen to ...one of the best records i have heard in a long time paul age 75 from manchester in uk.....loved your reaction to this one...brilliant and thanks
Easy to find counter-tenors Vinny Marchi is one great example. Geoff Castellucci is not a counter tenor but a bass vocalist with a 4-5 octave range with the ability to hit sub-harmonic notes and really rattle things with the bass. Geoff is part of the acapella group Voiceplay. and for other high note capable singers DImash Kudaibergen is one of the most talented singers I've ever seen. The lead singer from Poets of the Fall Marko Saaresto is also fantastic not the same vocal range but his vocal skill and emotion is just amazing.
I presume that he could use the original Nightwish / London Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO) and Metro Voices choir tapes for this performance. Most of the symphonic music you hear (on almost every song of Nightwish is written by Tuomas (keyboards) but is performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Since there’s not enough space on stage for a full live orchestra (and also couldn’t go with them on world tour for more than a year) it’s a running soundtrack pre-recorded at Angel Studios, London. This orchestra is featuring on every album NW released since ‘Once’ (except the last one Human :|: Nature which is performed by Blue Dot Orchestra). ua-cam.com/video/HcxjKlUcjXo/v-deo.html The background choir you frequently hear are the Metro Voices, a choir group also based in London. At some songs a boy’s soprano performed: Guy Elliott, 2nd boy soprano: Tom Williams, courtesy of the Reigate St Mary's Choir School. Child choir: Young Musicians London.
Please tell me you do know this is a nightwish cover. I'm guessing with you asking if he does the classical stuff himself you don't. Please listen to the 2013 Wicken nightwish version.
For another great singer, try this: Poets of the Fall - Angel (Alexander Theatre Sessions / Episode 7) ua-cam.com/video/tTXd90pVjCg/v-deo.html (There's 35 second silent intro for this video)
I have a lot of respect for Nightwish, friendship above all other, their guitar player is on a talented high school kid level, most bands would replace him at the first sign of success.
Lmao, bunch of shredding sheeps... the guitar player is incredibly talented, it's just that most of Nightwish songs don't require him to show off, it wouldn't fit in. He has done it before though, might aswell look it up before jumping to conclusions that make you seem awfully clueless...

Oh wow, that's pretty damn awesome!
Yes, he uses the original version from the album once: ua-cam.com/video/1Fx0YMqrjkk/v-deo.html

lol I was clearly being sarcastic but that's okay... his voice is very impressive! 🔥
@@sharmvlog Sorry, I have ASD so picking up on sarcasm can be hard sometimes 🥲
Music in background is instrumental version of song that can be found on double CD version of Once.
Ohhh 👍
This guy's got an insane falsetto!
Right?!
Yiannis is a countertenor. His Sahara cover is my favorite of his Nightwish covers. His best cover is Dio's Kill the King.
Ooooh I should listen to Kill The King!

Have you heard “Blind and Frozen” from his band Beast in Black??? Omg!!! It’s a must!!!
I have not! I'll add it to my list :)
It would be even more fun, I think, for her to react to "Zodd The Immortal" in consequence to this - it shows off a differnt side of his spectrum.

Omorfi poli by Mikis Theodorakis is another part of Yannis abilities.
I will check it out!
How is he singing so high? 🤔
Because he's Yannis! 😎
😁🤘
